Title: You Know You're Obsessed With Doctor Who When...
Description: Chain Store No. 2
PigRescuer - June 27, 2007 08:05 PM (GMT)
... when you have a dream about the Doctor and his coat.
xjessx - June 27, 2007 08:40 PM (GMT)
...When your poster of the Doctor is smiling at you, and it gets bigger the more i look at!!
oiyoupingpongman - June 27, 2007 08:49 PM (GMT)
YAY!
When you contemplate buying both radio times just to get master and doctor covers. And then drool over them in the shop for an unnaturally long time until the shop assistant clearly thinks you have serious problems
Dr. Baroline Trodd - June 28, 2007 02:18 PM (GMT)
When Saxon/ten is a normal part of your vocabulary when conversing with your best friend :D
littlered - June 28, 2007 06:21 PM (GMT)
When you stare at your babysitting charges' posters of Doctor Who while putting them to bed, when you refuse to read a five year old a story because you don't want to miss any more of an episode you've already seen, when you disturb your family by tapping the Saxon drumbeats over and over, when after watching Blink you are unable to move without trying to see in all directions ...
I feel wrong posting in here.
Port-ahh Lover - June 28, 2007 06:36 PM (GMT)
When you DO buy both covers of the radio times, steal a friends magazine (he didn't want it, so I took it) for a DW pic in it, and you have dreamt about The Doctor every night for the past week.
And also when you know you are going to cry in public on Saturday when Lucy Saxon does eventually die.

Port-ahh Lover - June 28, 2007 06:41 PM (GMT)

I'm crazy, so you don't have to be.

littlered - June 28, 2007 06:42 PM (GMT)
*runs faster* Leave me be, Saxon-channeller! I don't want to die horribly!
Port-ahh Lover - June 28, 2007 06:44 PM (GMT)
i wouldn't kill you verity, you're too important in my plans.
i think you need a hug.
*HUGGINGS!!!!!!*
littlered - June 28, 2007 06:47 PM (GMT)
Important in plans? Forget the evilness, then! *leaps on to hug*
Dr. Baroline Trodd - June 29, 2007 12:12 AM (GMT)
Did anyone else:
a. Notice that the Saxon drumbeat is the beat of themetune? (was that really obvious?)
b. Start singing 'Voodoo Child' everytime someone mentioned drums even BVEFORE they played the song?
littlered - June 29, 2007 08:07 AM (GMT)
Yes to the first, no to the second.
I just read that Gordon Brown ended his first speech as PM with "Let the work of change begin". ONE WORD different! What is going on in the world?
PigRescuer - June 29, 2007 05:45 PM (GMT)
What does Saxon say?
Yay for people posting in my thread!
enzotherhino - June 29, 2007 05:49 PM (GMT)
when your main concern over the powercuts is whether you get to see Doctor Who or not. But the problems are now fixed so hopefully it will all be fine *crosses fingers*

... when you (Jess, not me), point out every single London landmark possibly relating to DW.
And
... when you have only heard of the Gherkin because it was in DW.

when you already have said landmarks (minus Canary Wharf), pictured on your phone.
and when you had an in-depth discussion with your friends about what the Toclafane really are.
And also when I got described today as the only fan of TW.
It was meant as an insult, but i took it as a compliment.

As was Jess today.
But, to be fair, she was excited by Tooting.

Everyone thinks that when C'pin Jack's on screen ^_^
When you buy both RT's for the Covers
When you steal your mum's magazines with David in
When you drum the beats at every possible opportunity
When You buy another TARDIS moneybox cuz your other one is full
When You feel extremely tempted to lick your Dr poster
When you name your dads new dog K9, much to his annoyance
When you do a happy dance when David and John phone you and say they want you to come see them ^_^
newestgreenwingfan01 - July 1, 2007 07:07 PM (GMT)

When you have a building called Saxon house, which you get to see everyday!
enzotherhino - July 2, 2007 06:25 PM (GMT)
I've had "I Can't Decide" in my head half of today - it's so darn catchy!
PigRescuer - July 2, 2007 06:54 PM (GMT)
Snap!
All weekend, in fact.
XTinker_Bellx - July 2, 2007 07:12 PM (GMT)
double snap - it's so groovy
Dr. Baroline Trodd - July 2, 2007 08:59 PM (GMT)
Who's that by, I can't find it!
PigRescuer - July 2, 2007 09:04 PM (GMT)
Scissor Sisters.
Hold up.
Lyrics:
It's not easy having yourself a good time
Greasing up those bets and betters
Watching out they don't four-letter
f*ck and kiss you both at the same time
Smells-like something I've forgotten
Curled up died and now it's rotten
I'm not a gangster tonight
Don't want to be a bad guy
I'm just a loner baby
And now you're gotten in my way
I can't decide
Whether you should live or die
Oh, you'll probably go to heaven
Please don't hang your head and cry
No wonder why
My heart feels dead inside
It's cold and hard and petrified
Lock the doors and close the blinds
We're going for a ride
It's a bitch convincing people to like you
If I stop now call me a quitter
If lies were cats you'd be a litter
Pleasing everyone isn't like you
Dancing jigs until I'm crippled
Slug ten drinks I won't get pickled
I've got to hand it to you
You've played by all the same rules
It takes the truth to fool me
And now you've made me angry
I can't decide
Whether you should live or die
Oh, you'll probably go to heaven
Please don't hang your head and cry
No wonder why
My heart feels dead inside
It's cold and hard and petrified
Lock the doors and close the blinds
We're going for a ride
Oh I could throw you in the lake
Or feed you poisoned birthday cake
I wont deny I'm gonna miss you when you're gone
Oh I could bury you alive
But you might crawl out with a knife
And kill me when I'm sleeping
That's why
I can't decide
Whether you should live or die
Oh, you'll probably go to heaven
Please don't hang your head and cry
No wonder why
My heart feels dead inside
It's cold and hard and petrified
Lock the doors and close the blinds
We're going for a ride
V. good choice of songage.
xPL - July 2, 2007 09:55 PM (GMT)
when you rip saidd song from the episode. John Simm can SIIING....
and, you spend a good hour discussing with your friend who The Doctor's new companion should be.
We settled on a man from the 19th/20th centuary, who he saves from the Titanic, who wears mainly waistcoats, top hats and has a pimp stick.
What? It could happen.
oiyoupingpongman - July 3, 2007 12:43 AM (GMT)
:o Charlotte i just suggested something scarily similar for the new companion in the DW thread without reading that post! Consensus! I didnt think of the pimp stick though. But now i am....:)
When you're so immensely happy that they used 'I Cant Decide' in DW because its your favourite Scissor Sisters song and youve always been a bit scared to sing it in public because people might think your a sadist. But now its okay because im just being an obsessive DW fan! yay!
oiyoupingpongman - July 3, 2007 01:14 AM (GMT)
Sorry, double post, but also when you are considering altering your banner to read 'What is that mysterious drumming noise?'
Dr. Baroline Trodd - July 3, 2007 02:46 PM (GMT)
It's tha FEEEEM TOOOON!
Oh my God. I just referenced Little Britain. Kill me.
XTinker_Bellx - July 3, 2007 06:57 PM (GMT)
Bad Sinead!!
But seriously I've had that song in my head all day long, watched the eppy about 5 times and that specific scene unnumberable times.
I am in love with John Simm.
Fact.
newestgreenwingfan01 - July 3, 2007 07:01 PM (GMT)

Chapman - July 3, 2007 07:37 PM (GMT)
