Little_Simba - June 22, 2007 08:22 PM (GMT)
What's the full story behind these cats? I think I've missed what happened.
littlered - June 22, 2007 08:35 PM (GMT)
Becky and the cats are all gorgeous.
PigRescuer - June 23, 2007 11:37 AM (GMT)
Why didn't you take many pictures of Bubblegum Jack? She was MY favourite.
I have no pets. Unless you count Charlotte. ^_^
Port-ahh Lover - June 23, 2007 04:46 PM (GMT)
I AM NOT YOUR PET.
o.k, maybe i am slightly.
the story is that my mum was in the garden a few weeks ago, and while she was out there she saw a little white thing fall out of a bush. My mum went to investigate and found out that there was a black cat and also 3 more balls of fluff. So mum started to feed them and they basically grew up in my garden.
Also Vicki, Bubblegum Jack is the black cat at the top of the first photo in the group photos. She didn't want to pose for me by herself, so no singles of her.
littlered - June 23, 2007 05:11 PM (GMT)
That's a shame, she's gorgeous.

Yes, I did realise that. Having watched them for about half an hour last week and longer leaning on Leila.
Which is why I said MANY.

Whee. I thought that I could bring this topic back alive and send a picture of my richardson ground squirrel... Her name is Tiitu (or Titi-uu after one of the Moomin characres).
So, here she is:
xjessx - May 18, 2008 03:47 PM (GMT)
Ohh wow!! I never seen anything like her before...hehe she has such a cheeky smile going on!!
oiyoupingpongman - May 18, 2008 05:28 PM (GMT)
Aww! She looks like a rat/guinea pig! Are they common? What's she like? Do you have a hutch for her, or a run or what? *is suddenly Veruca Salt* I want a squirrel! Daddy, fetch me a squirrel!

:o
Dude..WANT!
*is calm*
I mean, that's an interesting pet.
It is very pretty..can I pet/steal/have it?
keijo - May 19, 2008 07:05 AM (GMT)
Oh, so many questions! Where to start? :D Humm... Richardsons are really rare pets. For example, there is only one pet shop in Finland that import them. They come from USA and Canada, mine is from Canada.
My squirrel lives alone, because in herd she teases others. I've "built" her a cage which has two parts. Lower part is a big aquarium where she can dig and do all the ground squirrel stuff. On top of the aquarium there is (I think it is) a rat cage which I have split in two floors. Oh, I'm so rubbish in explaining things! Anyway. She spends her days there when I'm at school etc. but when I come home I let her to run around in my flat. Fortunately she doesn't destroy any furniture, but sometimes she climbs up to the window board and digs all our flowers up from the pots... :phwoar
If you're interested you can search some information and find out if there's any pet shops that import richardsons to the UK. They are really lovely pets, althoug the start can be pretty tuff. Because they are still quite wild animals, they're afraid of you at the start. But with care and love (and food! :D) they will become attahed to you!

I get squirrels in the garden  Can I just catch one of those and tame it
Your's looks quite different though, and quite cute

XTill_Masterx - May 19, 2008 04:18 PM (GMT)
Aha yup :D
It's Hollie's (oiyoupingpongman) fault..we were talking about squirrels and something was said about the mating of Grey and Red squirrels and how the resulting offspring would be pink and I was there like :o OMIGODIWANT!!
So yeah..I want a pink squirrel :D
keijo - May 19, 2008 04:58 PM (GMT)
Ok, makes sense... :D In case you will someday get a pink squirrel remember to tell me about it. I might wanna have one too! Haha.
YESS! I'm Sue's lollipop!!! :heart :heart
(sorry off topic :P)
xpingux - May 19, 2008 08:07 PM (GMT)

XTill_Masterx - May 19, 2008 11:47 PM (GMT)
:D I'm gunna force breed red and grey squirrels now just to see what happens
keijo - May 20, 2008 06:28 AM (GMT)
Haha, it MAY be quite hard to find any red squirrels, but keep searching, maybe one day? :D
Edit: omg, I just found out that there really are red squirrels... Well, they are the same squirrels we have in here, but I didn't know they were called as red squirrels. I mean, they are just.... squirrels. :D And they are brown!
Varpunen - May 20, 2008 06:38 AM (GMT)
pssssst, there are red squirrels :P
I'd post a pic of my pets but they are hiding so well under my bed! They're pretty fluffy, grey and they've cloudy like structure! I tend to call them dust clouds :P
XTill_Masterx - May 20, 2008 10:01 AM (GMT)
Red Squirrels are all being eaten though :( Stupid grey squirrels.
Actually I had the oddest dream last night (seriously it was messed up) but part of it was that there was a red squirrel in my living room and it came over for a hug and to cry.. no idea what that's about.
Ferrahi Enzo or Life in general
IMO - June 2, 2008 08:41 PM (GMT)
:high jumps up and down excitedly.... I didn't know dust mites were pets :high I've got those. Ohhhhh now I'll have to give them all names
Anyhow, here is a piccy of the super cool hamster home/manor/ mansion/palace..... I have just ordered for the six year old as we have finally given in and said he can have a hamster.

and, and, andddddddddddddddddddd you can add on to it, with a hamster maze and yet more tubes and things, and special cardboard inserts for the hamster to chew on whilst in the maze, including a cardboard car :high
Isn't it cool
IMO - June 2, 2008 08:43 PM (GMT)
This is the maze

different cardboard insert - it's a tree house

and the car

and look it's a house
enzotherhino - June 2, 2008 08:52 PM (GMT)
Ooh that's really cool - all my hamster got was tubes.
Unfortunately I'm allergic to dust mites :(. Maybe I can make friends with the flies instead.
guyoline - June 2, 2008 09:29 PM (GMT)
oh man that is coolness it makes me want a hamster
XTill_Masterx - June 2, 2008 09:36 PM (GMT)

guyoline - June 2, 2008 09:51 PM (GMT)
XTill_Masterx - June 2, 2008 09:57 PM (GMT)

Or..I could just steal him..:ph43r:
Chapman - June 3, 2008 09:47 AM (GMT)
that is a very cool cage thing, my parents have never caved in, we had gerbils for a year but my sister killed them, so we arent allowed pets :(
IMO - June 3, 2008 09:20 PM (GMT)
So far names for the hamster are
Hammy or Fluff.
It's also going to be given a cuddly toy, a blanket and a rolly thing for a Christmas present
XTill_Masterx - June 4, 2008 12:23 AM (GMT)
You should so call it Richard..
Go onn..it'll be fun :)
