Has anyone else seen the trailer for this, which is all over ITV this evening. It looks just like a take-off of Torchwood :o Although reading the blurb (see below) it's obviously a totally different setup.

Hmmm well I think we should all watch it, just so we can decide if it is a ripe-off of TW :angry: Then ITV will look at their viewing figures and think "wow this ripe-off of Torchwood is great we've got a success on our hands" only to fall into the depths of despair the second week when the viewing figures drop like ...... ummmm yeah, drop like raindrops :unsure: no that's not right. ummmm drop like lemmings off a cliff :eehee

yeah but if the ratings go down next wekk they wil see that the people who watched it this wekk obviously thought it was shit so that's better

otherwise they may count it down due to lack of advertising or something like that

Well the start was like the beginning of Power Rangers Dino Thunder, actually I'm almost convinced they've just nicked the footage from Power Rangers. Then we get girl working in Zoo who can't act - again a complete ripoff from Power Rangers :rolleyes:

Then there's the striding around looking up into the sky shots = Torchwood
Running around a school building away from a large creature = Doctor Who
A time portal = Stargate SG1
creature appearing out of shell = Invasion :lol:

I could keep going, but I'm getting bored now.

I'm going to let the boys watch it tomorrow afternoon as it's definately aimed at the little people.

To be honest if there was a second series I'd probably watch it, as the last episode when they all get dragged into the water was quite good, and then there were all the pregnant women weren't there. Ohhh it's all coming back to me now. Yes we need another series :high

I turned over to shrek so i have no idea what happened after the lizard with wings flew off
but I believe that shrek was far more stimulating for my brain :D

Can someone tell me whether that kid died or not ... sorry .. i saw parts of it.. heh IMO i never noticed the parallels between Stargate SG1, Invasion and other programs like that i guess i was just focusing on the fact the ripped off Torchwood and Doctor Who, thought the CGI was pretty poor quality as well :blink:

I don't think the kid died cause that other bloke from the I can stand and look up into the distant sky type acting school, made the dino come after him by shouting at it and knocking over book cases and things.

Oh good heavens I watched this tonight and it truly is awful, isn't it? I was reading all the comments from last night and thinking 'hmm... it can't be that bad, can it?', but it really was!

I didn't even tell the little people who may belong to me, about watching the repeat on Sunday afternoon. I just couldn't face seeing even bits of it again.

I thought the little green dinosaur acted most of the cast off the screen!
