In the outtake-y bit at the end of the series 2 deleted scenes (3rd disc, methinks?) there is a 2 second-ish clip of Steve dressed as a Roman Centurian popping up behind a sand dune.

Now here is my question.

WHY?

Well in commentry for the special victoria pile mentions it, but it isnt explained!!
I am lead to believe Stephen possily Julian dressed up, i dont know why and hopfully if there is to be an exyra dvd with dvd boxset we will get to see the scene!!

That must have been at a part of the commentary where I get distracted and start watching the episode lol

The only thing is on The Special DVD commentary they're talking about Vikings not Romans. I did drop massive hints in the BFI thread that this was a question that should be asked - but it never was :angry: :rolleyes: :wtf

The most likely thing would be that the were shooting a scene outside and they had sometime to shoot extra scenes. You no when people have said before that if they are given some extra time they with improvise. well maybe props had the hats and decided to just give it ago. you no stephan, he could improvis anything.

i was going to ask that question at the bfi thing but i didn't get a chance to ask a second one - and i wanted my first one asked sorry IMO
