cheddargorge - September 24, 2005 10:04 AM (GMT)
Eeeek!! I just saw an advert for a new show on BBC 2 with Tamsin Grieg! Looks awesome! Can't wait!!

CraigJamieson88 - September 25, 2005 12:18 PM (GMT)
Cool! Whats it called? I've not seen it advertised.

cheddargorge - September 25, 2005 08:11 PM (GMT)
Oh Jees... I can't remember! Possibly something to do with a hairbrush...? But don't quote me! I didn't see when it was on either. God i suck with the info! Ooh play my round in blankety blank though! it looks like a good game and would be good to get it started again.
Hope to see some guesses soon!

cheddargorge - September 28, 2005 08:57 PM (GMT)
Ahh, it's called "Love Soup". Watched it last night. Was not all that great to be honest. Bit of an anti climax. Oh well. We live and learn. Nothing will ever be as good as green wing. Heee.

IMO - April 23, 2006 06:01 PM (GMT)
I really enjoyed Love Soup. And I have read somewhere that another series is being made :D

I'm going to merge this with the Love Soup topic in Tamsin's Cast thread. ;)

xjessx - July 12, 2006 12:30 PM (GMT)

IMO - February 23, 2007 07:15 PM (GMT)
Whoo hooo yes yes yessssssssssssssss.......................

look look look at James Henry's blog for today

Thursday, February 22, 2007
Ah the happy times I spent working with Tazmin on Greenway (although the staring did get a bit much).

By a bizarre coincidence, a certain multiple award-winning ex-Green Wing star is filming today outside the office where m'lovely girlfriend works. At least we think she is, because it's not easy to tell from the following email:

"Dear all,

The BBC will be filming part of their series Love Soup (staring actress Tazmin Greg from 'Greenway') outside the ********* today. They will not be entering the (office building), but will be filming in the ********* Pub and the passageway outside.

For those of you I have approached regarding assisting them, by leaving their lights on in their office when they go home tonight, much appreciated and thank you."

I am so excited that at last a second series is on the way :high

ps: Apparently this was an internal mail and the person who typed it has obviously never heard of Green Wing - hence the Greenway mistake

Ahhh!! Love Soup! Love Soup!! Love Soup!! Love Soup!!! Love Soup!!!!
I cant wait!! Ekk i wish we knew where they were filming...for stalking purposes!!

IMO - February 23, 2007 08:30 PM (GMT)
I'm getting very excited about this. Tamsin's (sorry) Tazmin's  going to be on the telly again. :notworthy

But if they're only filming now, it's going to be months and months and months before we get to see it

xjessx - February 23, 2007 08:33 PM (GMT)
I missed it when it was first on TV!! I really want them to show it now..even though its not ready...ive been waiting agees already!! Ohh do you think Alice and Gil will finally find each other!!

Dr. Baroline Trodd - February 23, 2007 09:41 PM (GMT)
YAY.

YAY.

AND YAY.

I dunno if it'd annoy me more if they were together or apart...

IMO - February 25, 2007 01:12 PM (GMT)
We can't have a whole series of them not meeting again. We need:-

Episode 1:- They meet
Episode 2: They hate each other
Epsiode 3: Alice likes him
Episode 4: Alice doesn't like him
Episode 5: Gil likes Alice
Episode 6: Gil doesn't like Alice
Episode 7: They fall passionately into each others arms and no one dies

Dr. Baroline Trodd - February 25, 2007 06:00 PM (GMT)
I bet we find out that Gil is dying of an unknown illness. And Alice suddenly develops the power of flight.

I quite liked Sheridan Smith in Love Soup, and I usually find her a bit chav-tastic....

guyoline - February 25, 2007 06:44 PM (GMT)
maybe the see each other at the theatre (that they went to at the end of the last sries together) but as they were with other people they don't bother talking to each other but they they can't stop thinkin of each other and fall in love over the series - and they they inally end up continuously running into each other - does that make sense

bingle - February 25, 2007 06:44 PM (GMT)
Anyone have any idea when Series One is being released on DVD because I missed it. :(
Or has it already beenr eleased and I've missed that as well!

guyoline - February 25, 2007 06:45 PM (GMT)
I have had love soup for like half a year or more now - actually i got it about a year ago  it was out a few months after it ended on tv

bingle - February 25, 2007 06:46 PM (GMT)
Ooops. Blame it on my age!

Where did you get it from?!

guyoline - February 25, 2007 06:53 PM (GMT)
well personally I brought it in the BBC shop when I went to the live recording of mock the week or soemthing like that
but you can get it most places - it should be in the comedy section (or maybe TV it depends...)

bingle - February 25, 2007 06:57 PM (GMT)
I couldn't find it on play
I'll have to have another look. Or go to the BBC place near where I live - they should have it or know where I can get it from. Why did I never think of that before?

IMO - February 25, 2007 10:41 PM (GMT)
I've had a copy, currently languising under the bed, for about 8 months :D and I think I got from the BBC Shop. However, just looked on there now, and their search engine is so naff when you type in love soup dvd, it just brings up about 11 pages of every single comedy they've ever made  I gave up trying to find it.

HMV.com are selling it for £17.99 which sounds a lot, but then they don't add on P&P as extra.

But wait for this, Amazon are selling it for £36.00 which I think is a bargin. NOT.
Honesty I think Amazon are losing the plot

guyoline - February 25, 2007 10:48 PM (GMT)
Nane!! £36 Nande??? that's insane!

but i think I brought my love soup dvd for about £17 or about that! I got sooo hyper about seeing it in the shops for the first time i went a bit insane!

the audiocommentary is rather interesting - but there is only one but all the extra stuff is really cool

on the outakes there is a LOT of tamsin mucking it up or just laughing teehee :D

IMO - February 25, 2007 11:10 PM (GMT)
The outtakes are brilliant. The producers of Green Wing DVD's should have taken note before releasing their DVD's.

I've not listened to the audio commentary yet - maybe that should be my project for the coming week.

guyoline - February 25, 2007 11:28 PM (GMT)
yes do it is rather interesting :) but sadly not tamsin or micheal in it (but then you would know if you were in it wouldn't you??)

but sadly there is only one - I think they should get the actors in to do one or two on the next series dvd :)

Dr. Baroline Trodd - February 25, 2007 11:42 PM (GMT)
Is there anyone whose DVD is not too precious to them and would possibly let me borrow it? I understand it'd be hard coz I barely see you guys!

guyoline - February 25, 2007 11:47 PM (GMT)
hmm possibly but mine is signed by tamsin so I'm really touchy about it - if I see you ib the next few weeks then I can give it to you then and then you could give it back over easter maybe??? hmm pm me in a few days and we'll sort out a time to meet up ad I'll give it to you

guyoline - February 26, 2007 12:12 AM (GMT)
