I reckon it must be some kind of sketch, but it must be entirely unrelated to the plot of the series - there would be too much to explain after the special, like why Statham and Joanna are alive lol

yeah they host it all over the country - there are like gatherings of people in major cities but the main thing is in the BBC television studios white city...
