Was it someone on the JRT Forum who posted that - I think it must have been. And it was in answer to why he wasn't at the GW Convention last week, so it would tie in with the Miss Marple thing as that's why he's dyed the lions mane.

I'm getting very excited now at the thought that Julian might have a main part in this :cheer2

ITV are about to start filming a new series of Miss Marple. They've signed up quite a few comic actors for these new special length episodes... including a couple of familiar faces. Stephen will be playing the star role of Inspector Bird in the episode 'At Bertram's Hotel' and Mark Heap will be appearing in the same episode as Mutti. Meanwhile JRT will be starring in the 'Ordeal by Innocence' episode, presumably he'll be playing one of the leading characters... one of which is called, we kid you not... Dr MacMaster!

hahahaha Dr MacMaster  But, but, but.... we want him to be the one who had amnesia as surely that's the main part after Miss Marple

xjessx - January 24, 2007 01:56 PM (GMT)
I've never watched Miss Marple, but will tune in for these guys!!!!

DrMacMaster...that is so cute!!!

Doesn't Stephen say Miss Marple looks like a scotum in a hat!! I hope that came from the writers not him!!

guyoline - January 24, 2007 02:28 PM (GMT)
w00t w00t go dr macmaster

yeah he did - when he first mentioned miss marple at FP signing i said that to him and he went "I know! but she is lovely"

and i never really watched miss marple before but i love murder mystery hows so it should be good :D

IMO - January 24, 2007 03:59 PM (GMT)
I watched all the Miss Marple's with Joan Hickman as Miss Marple because she was so good, and because of that I didn't watch any of the new ITV ones last time as it wouldn't have been the same with a different actress.
However, I am now changing my mind :)

dudes EVERYBODY should watch miss marple, regardless of whether the GW gang are in it or not! true, she's no where NEAR the same league as the amazing Sherlock Holmes, but she's a damn good detective.
:D

Also, YAY! for Macmaster!!! do you think the writers cast him because of the name?

xpingux - January 28, 2007 09:10 PM (GMT)
Wikipeida site has been updated and he's playing a character called Dr. Arthur Calgary

She's been around for years. Her big claim to fame is as Solitaire in Live and Let Die (1973) - the one with the Tarot cards. ;)

And omg Richard Armitage, Burn Gorman and Julian all in one drama :notworthy

XTinker_Bellx - January 29, 2007 06:24 PM (GMT)
