In my fic alan and joanna are just on holiday and havent killed anyone, its caromac, guy/sue, martin/karen and hints at boyce/kimmy past relationship


Boyce tried to tell himself he wouldnt miss the stammering, eccentric Consultant Radiologist although that wasnt so easy after Mister Old Shouty Man bellowed at him for daring to think of slipping into his usual bantering routine with Alan Roderick Statham.

He felt visibly stricken and inwardly shocked. He, Jack Boyce, had NEVER been yelled at by Statham. Spluttered at incoherently perhaps but never YELLED at.

For the first time since hed come to this hospital, Boyce lapsed into silence and stared, wide-eyed atMister Old Shouty Man and actually felt something odd which he tried not to pay attention to as he couldnt believe it.

He, Jack Boyce, didnt, wasnt, couldnt miss Statham after just a week of him being on holiday could he?!

But as Mister Old Shouty Man glared and barked at him to pay attention, he knew it was true.

He missed Alan Statham.

Boyce walked into Sue Whites office expecting to see her on her own but found her deep in conversation with Kim, the last person he wanted to see having dumped her after being together for a year. He tried to slowly back out of the room but Sue, seeing the door open, called out happily, "Come in Boyce, Come in."

Boyce glared angrily at Sue who just waved innocently back. Kim, he saw, looked close to tears at the sight of him and grabbed her coat and bag.

"Bye Kimmy," Sue called, happily as Kim jumped up and all but sprinted out of the room.

"Sue!" Boyce sank into a chair, "You relationship wrecker! Stop trying to ruin my friendships with people in this hospital?!"

Sue put a hand over her heart, "How dare you slander my name Master Boyce!"

She went off into one of her rare rants and Boyce sat patiently till she finished, "So why did you want to see me?"

Sue tapped the keyboard and looked intently at her computer screen while Boyce leant back in his chair and waited in silence.

Ohhh are we going to get more cos this is very sweet and i very much like Boyce

"Oh yeah, this computer-y thingymabob has informed me that Ive got an email from a Doctor Statham," said Sue, still staring intently at the computer screen through crossed-eyes, "But i didnt read it. Particularly as I saw that the subject was FOR BOYCE ONLY."

Boyce raised his eyebrows, "You didnt read a private email Miss White?"

"Oh fine then," Sue leant back in her seat so violently that the chair fell backwards so she disappeared behind the desk. Undaunted, she called up, "Yes I read it but it was so desperately dull and tedious that I got bored within one sentence. Funny enough how Statham manages to put emails into stammers and stutters and unintelligible babbles."

Boyce tried not to smile as he got up and helped the slim Scotch to her feet, "Go find Guy, Ill read the tedious email."

Sue dived headlong out the window and Boyce panicked, rushing to the window to see Sue go flying upwards. He looked down and saw a trampoline, "Only Sue...." he said, highly amused as he watched Sue fall, quite happily back past him and blow him a kiss.

Hehe it made me laugh out loads at bits - that is such a Sue thing to do! Yey for Alan's email!

Boyce turned away from a happily trampolining Sue and turned to the extremely important task of reading his email from Alan.

well we are in sunny barbados, and its absolutely beautiful although i dont like spain or was it france i dont like?

aaaanyway i hope youre continuning to study (cue cry of laughter from joanna, although i, i, im not too sure why shes laughing so much shes about to chop off one of her fingers) as you are a v, very good student normally (wait my sexy darling has just reminded me that that isnt you!! ignore this last paragraph)

Boyce grinned broadly at the email. It was typically alan and he smiled at the geographical blunder.

Two days and he'll see alan again. Funnily enough Boyce was looking forward to it.

It's always strange to read a fic which isn't centered abour Mac/Caroline/Guy. I like.

But am looking forward to an appearance of Mac before too long.
