First GW fanfic I meen I have done fanfics before but less comedic ones soo if you think its rubbish do tell lol … I’ll try get more comedy in and please give me pointers and if anyone wants to help and make it a sort of joint effort type thing feel free I cant say I mind.

Mac leant against the outside wall of the hospital barely listening to Martins innate rambling, he finally registered one word that he may be vaguely interested in ‘wife’, he looked up, “huh?”…
I said “where’s the wife this morning?” Martin gave him a strange uncharacteristic sarcastic look. It was at that point that Guy decided to join in the conversation.
“Strictly speaking in a few weeks she’ll be my wife” he said with a smug look on his face.
“Not what she said in bed last night donkey boy, what was it oh yeah I remember, even after you’re gone I wouldn’t touch Guy with a 10ft barge pole” he replied snidely, even Martin laughed a little, to which Guys response was to push him out into the path of an oncoming car which, he narrowly avoided.
There was a uneasy silence as Martin brushed himself down for some reason…. “So where is she?” Martin finally spoke up trying to make conversation. Mac looked at him “Ah yeah she was throwing up this morning so I told her to stay home” Mac replied.
“Probably the thought of having you as a husband” Guy said with a cocky smirk on his face.
Mac ignored the comment and continued “Actually she been a bit off for a few days now, tired all the time and she’s throwing up in the mornings … I think she might be coming down with the flu”
Guy and Martin Nodded … the three of them stood there in silence for a moment… before something finally clicked with Mac “shit” ..
“Aren’t you supposed to be dead anyway” Guy muttered although he seemed distracted still “its been 5 weeks…” Guy looked across at Mac … “double shit”
“So what are you two doing this weekend then?” Martin inquired?
“Erm sorry I’ve got to go” Mac said hurriedly before making a mad dash for his Motorbike.

Mac was in the process of putting on his helmet when he was stopped by his GP (A/N no idea what his name is but the one who told Mac he was dying in the first place … and I know he wouldn’t be a GP but for arguments sake … lol).
“Erm Dr. McCartney can I have a quick word please.” He shouted from across the car park whilst running towards him.
“Sorry can it wait now’s not the best time” he replied rather sharply.
“I really think it would be best if we talked now it’s rather important..” He looked Mac meaningfully in the eyes.
“If it’s about my illness I really don’t want to know … I don’t think I can put up with anymore information about it.” He said with a sigh.
“Well it is, but it’s not bad ne-“ he was abruptly cut off by Mac
“Do I have a few more months to live” the slightest tinge of happiness in his voice all the time thinking ‘a few more weeks is all I need’.
“ erm … longer I’d say I mee-“ once again he was cut off…
“years … this isn’t a joke is it?. wait sorry how long? “ Mac looked at him expectantly.
“ Well considering you’re a normal, perfectly healthy 36year old man I’d say you should live a long and happy life”(A/N again I don’t know how old Mac actually is so please do tell if you know or you think im wrong)
“Wait …. Perfectly healthy … this is coming from the man how told me I was going to die a few weeks ago” Mac whispered
“ah yes well slight mix up with your results … funny thing really there’s someone walking around who’s going to die in a few days .. wait that’s not really funny is it?” he half laughed.
Mac stood there in shock “… I don’t know whether to be ecstatic or bloody angry .. I think I need to go see Caroline.. oh god Caroline I really need to get home”

Mac half jumps half skips onto his bike ….. (A/N that end bit wasnt written very well ) ah well do give me advice if you want to lol)

5 weeks 1 day ago on a beach somewhere in the south of England ….

“YOU IDIOT, YOU SAID IT DOESN’T MATTER IF THE TIDES OUT… ITS NOT THAT FAR TO WALK, WE’LL BE THERE IN NO TIME AND INSTEAD WE ENDED WALKING FOR HALF A TWATING HOUR BEFORE TURNING ROUND AND COMING BACK” a extremely pissed off Joanna Clore screeched at a rather sheepish look Statham.
“Maybe it wasn’t the best of idea’s my sweet but we can find another way to remove ourselves from the earthly plain” Alan replied
At that point Joanna hit Alan round the back of the head before lighting up a cigarette…
“Were did you get those from??” Alan muttered staring at a stark naked Joanna …
“I’m middle aged there are several places I can conceal a cigarette and a lighter (A/N- this all seems a little weird to me don’t know where it came from :S)
“Anyway I’ve gone off the idea of killing ourselves now, come to think of it did anybody actually see us kill anyone … the shop didn’t have any camera’s only problem is explaining the campervan…”
“We could say we where pressured into it by a masked man…” Alan mused.
“Bloody brilliant” Joanna replied sarcastically “right that’s it back to the hospital”.
“But but the dwarf … we told Boyce” (A/N- they might’ve done I can’t remember for arguments sake they did)
“Then we’ll just have to beat him till he forgets…”

Thus began Alan and Joanna’s 5 week long trip home

Mac didn’t even bother taking the keys out of the lock as he stepped through the doorway in search of Caroline.
He found her half way through getting dressed for work..
“Shouldn’t you be resting” he muttered wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her on the check.
“Why?” she answered defensively but smiling slightly “What do you know?”
“Nothing… it’s just you were thro- wait what do you know that I don’t know that I should know” he turned her round gently trying to act like he hadn’t worked anything out.
Caroline looked at him incredulously, and sighed “I suppose you ought to know I’m”
“Wait” Mac cut her off “don’t you want to here my news” he looked her in the eye ‘s a smile tugging at his lips.
“You have news, well if I’d know I would have dressed up specially..” Caroline said with a lop sided smile in a lame attempt to make a joke.
Mac smiled broadly he loved that smile, he loved everything about her right down to that funny walk she had, he smiled sweetly. “Yeah I’ve got news… I don’t know how to put this so I might as well come out with it” Mac turned serious for a moment.
Caroline’s face dropped “Oh god your leaving me for Sue White aren’t you? No wait you’re illness has gotten worse and you’ve got 24 hours to live…”
Mac smiled “No the opposite in fact there’s been a mix up with my results, I’m not dying … Mac looked at her with a huge smile on his face “and why the hell did you think I’d leave you for Sue White?” He looked her in the eyes she stared down at the floor.
“I don’t know to be honest … and whilst were on the subject of honesty I think you should know” Caroline took a deep breath “I’m pregnant, I mean if you want to leave me now if it’s all to much stress I understand I’ll be fine you can go find a lovely pretty girlfriend who isn’t knocked up and have a stress free life…” She met his gaze.
“Caroline I’m not going to leave you and I already have the prettiest wife ever” he cupped her cheek and kissed her full on the lips “okay just one thing … are you sure??”
Caroline removed one hand from Macs waist and fumbled with something on the bed side cabinet, when brought at least 6 positive pregnancy tests from behind her back “yeah I’m sure, I’ll double check with my GP though ..”
Mac grinned again and slipping his arms around her waist he picked her up and spun her round .. “That’s fucking fantastic Caroline” He shouted.
“ugh Mac I hate to say it but your making me feel sick” Caroline muttered …
“ah sorry” he grinned sheepishly before kissing her full on the lips again “You make me feel like the luckiest man alive” he whispered in her ear…

This ones a bit longer then the others and a bit soppy but ah well…. and Again it’s lacking the comedic aspect but lol do say what you think I’d love to know :)

Guy wandered into to Sue Whites office and sat himself down and slouching in the chair, he sighed, “no chance she’ll go for me now, my flawless plan actually has several flaws”.
“hmmmm that’s an interesting point” Sue mused, Guy looked at her she had a strangely blank look on her face “you’re right I don’t play many sports any more..”
“What the hell are you on about you crazed Scottish bint” he shouted looking midly scared.
“hm what …” she looked up and jumped “how long have you been there?!?!”
“about a minuet, you’re seriously weird” he said incredulously.
“Am I not allowed to have a conversation with my inner child donkey boy, if your going to insult me you might as well f*ck off”
He sighed again “no no sorry I won’t insult you again…..” he put up his hands defensively.
“Liar” she muttered in reply “anyway what the f*ck are you doing here”
He leant back against the chair “I don’t know actually … I suppose I just felt like talking and for some reason you where the person how came to mind”
“Well Dr. Secretan anyone would think you liked me” she said in a flirtatious voice “but I know you’re a complete wanker so there must be some alternate motive to your little visit here today” returning to her normal accent.
“no honestly I really don’t know why I came here, I just like our conversations, sometimes they can actually go well” he replied.
“hmm I seem to recall that we’ve only ONCE had a civil conversation… but for some reason I feel myself wanting to have more of those conversations” she leant across the desk, bringing her face closer to Guys.
“Say tonight at 7?” He asked cockily
“Tonight at 7” she finalised.
Guy looked at her for a moment before pushing himself up.
“Conceited bastard” she shouted through the door.
“Crazy scotch bint” he shouted back before turning round smiling to himself.
Sue smiled and put her feat up on the desk revealing a pair of extremely pointy shoes “Interesting” ………

Concealed ciggies, at least six pregnancy tests, Mac not dying, this is great. I would have expected Caroline to react a little more to the news that Mac is going to be OK, maybe it just hasn't sunk in yet.

i was thinking that afterwards ... i suppose she still in shcok after being pregnant lol *cough* well thats my excuse anyway :rolleyes:

Caroline and Mac were sat on there settee with there arms around each other watching some random documentary on flesh eating bacteria. “ Shit, the illness these patients on in with in the first place are bad enough but to end up with necrotizing fasciitis whilst your in there has got to be the last straw for half these people.” Mac muttered partly to himself. He looked at Caroline who had appeared to have been in be deep in thought since there conversation in the bedroom.
“Mac?” she met his gaze “Did you say you weren’t dying?”
He let out a laugh “yes”.
“Bloody hell” she hugged him tighter “that’s fantastic” looking him in the eye’s.
He laughed again “It’s taken you this long to come to that conclusion”.
“Must’ve been in shock” she mused before looking him in the eyes breaching the gap between there lips.

Boyce dragged his feet as he made his way to radiology room 2, although he’d never admit it he really missed Statham, he sighed before moving his textbooks onto one arm and swinging open the door. He looked up expecting to be shouted at for being 1 second late instead, his face lit up like a Christmas tree “Dr. Statham you’re back!”


Elsewhere …
Joanna wandered into the office fully expecting it to be a complete mess however she found it completely clean save an unusual totem pole thing in the corner, she looked around to see all the girls working normally… “This is just weird..” she muttered
“huh? Oh hi Joanna didn’t expect to see you back …. Well ever” Rachel looked up briefly before getting back to work.
“far be it from me to complain but when I leave for two minuets I usually come back to you playing hop-scotch or something … I go away for 5 weeks and your working …. Normally… who the hell are you and what have you done with my office girls? ” She asked warily
“Don’t worry now your back we can play up again” Karen mumbled
Joanna was going to ask what had gotten into her… but didn’t feel up to it… instead she decided to head into her office.
Once she’d closed the door there was a load bang sound as each and every office girl hit there head on their desk …. “shit she’s back…”
