Can't believe they've left us thinking that Mac's going to die - it's not fair.

However, loved loved loved the way Mac proposed to Caroline :wub: I will now go off into a happy land where Mac gets the all clear from the illness that has an 'a' and an 'e' in it and I will live happily ever after.

Can't wait to see the alternative ending on the DVD.

I hope that alternative ending makes more sense than the real one did!!

I have to admitt I teared up!! when Caro went round and kissed Guy...then what she said to Mac... :cry SOO CUTE!!! and Boyce and Alan after that...I was in TEARS!!!!!!!!!!! :P (it's true though!!)

Oh, I was disappointed too...I think after all the plugging for Guy done in series 2, they realised it had to be undone to make Mac and Caroline seem more of a happy ending...which it was, but GUUUUUYYY!! They made him into a complete arse for all but 2 scenes!

I know he was always an arse. But you get me, I'm sure. It annoyed me how lovey Caroline was in front of him to Mac!

Alan and Joanna actually really saddened me despite them not being my favourite characters. Boyce and Alan! Poor, poor Boyce.

They obviously didn't really know what to do with the Office Girls (that sounds like a popband...)

The balloons bit actually annoyed me quite a lot.

Still...for something so long I don't think they fitted enough in!

I'm sorry but I was expecting so much more from this episode, it's like the writers went away after episode 8 and somebody else was given episode 9 to write, with only a couple of the character's catchphrases to work from. Very poor.

its worse than getting someone new in to write one episode. it's like they got a bunch of monkeys in to do it!!

the more i think about it the more disappointed I am with the ending! I cannot believe they had her floating away like a twat at the end.

I thought the entire point of this episode (and the length of it) was to tie up of the loose ends...instead it's just added to them!!

I'm glad others are disappointed, I thought it might just be my obsession with GUy...my last post sounded quite a lot like I hated GW. :o
