ahh mock the week I love this show - my friend jade told me about it and have loved it ever since - i love frankie soo much he rules

and the special that was on the other day was great but it kinda scared me as I have been to one - maybe 2 of the live recordings of it with my friend jade and it was amusing as it was strange thinking: oh my gosh i was there when that was filmed etc etc

i hope they do another series soon :)

THEY ARE doing another series, it starts on jan 11th i think, we were guna get tickets to the live recordings but couldnt in the end its jus too far on a school night

The improv cracks me

i went to a live recording of this once and it was very amusing - :lol: the amount of improv they do is amazing :lol: these guys are naturally halarious :D

I thought a lot of it was scripted...do they not think up the 'performance area' ones beforehand?

no hardly any of it is scripted, the same with 8 out of 10 cats, dara has cue cards and stuff, and i have no idea why they have a point system as in the recording they record both sides winning for each round :blink: but yeah most of it is in fact improv

he told us frankie boyle is the MAN and that the stuff u see on tv is like the censored stuff which i can imagine and he told us this HILARIOUS story involving andy parsons, poo and fishing hahahahaha

I love this show! You're so lucky to have see it live, but I won't complain because I've been very lucky BBC tickets wise. :)

I can't believe that most of it is improvised, like you said, I'd always assumed it was mostly scripted. *shrugs*

Yes, my boyfriend has got tickets for it and went about three weeks ago but I think there are q. a few people applying so you'd have to be patient and lucky.

I have managed to get tickets in the past - like when it was just begining so the first or second series I think but nothing since then. but it is fab live cause there are so many jokes that are cut - same with 8 out of 10 cats - no where near as funny as the live recording my gosh that one lasts for like 3 hours cause they make so many jokes!
