In "The Long Game" the 6th Doctor WHo episode of the new series, showing on BBC1 Saturdays at 7...
No info on her character as of yet, but Simon Pegg plays a media magnate called "The Editor" who runs an intergalactic media forum which no one who goes to the 500th floor returns from....

Saw the trailer for this episode, but there was no sign of Tamsin, will be watching anyway, although I can't wait for the new series with David Tennant :rude

Have checked the cast list for this Saturday's episode of Dr Who and yes she is in it as a neurosurgeon (typecasting?)

 that's what I thought myself!
It's in the Radio Times listing this week, and you can check out Dr. Who reference here

It literally says:
" Alison Graham has Tamsin Greig as "This Week's One to Watch" (page 63) noting that she is playing "a neurosurgeon of the future in this week's Doctor Who story." Which is, again, one of Saturday's choices (page 64), although with a rather mixed view:"

She's got her own appreciation thread over at Outpost Gallifrey forum

Have to say, she played it straight - no comedy face pulling or anything...!

Was it just me or did she sound wierd? Also I don't think she was a neurosurgeon, she referred to someone else doing the op, she just tlaking the guy through it!

Well going back to this thread she did install that hole thing in his head, so that might have suggested her being a neurosurgeon

Ah well, Im loving doctor who, does anyone else?

LittleMissMercy - May 30, 2005 01:01 PM (GMT)
I didn't think she did install it, just talk him through the procedure, she reffered to some one doing it as I recall!

And yes the nes series of Dr Who is very good, although I am finding bits of the dialogue slightly annoying.

Well, only being 16 this is the the first series Ive seen and Im not a great sci-fi fan but I love it! Apparently, the last episode is left on a cliffhanger (now, what other show did that?! Hmmmm.... ) But then we have to wait til Xmas to find out what happens.,.. thats what I heard anyway...

I don't particularly remember DR Who, but I did see the series with Silvester MaCoy (spelling!) and it really sucked, but then is was the late 80s when special effects didn't really exist!

*feeling old now!*

Another medical sort of role for her!

She seems slightly better-spoken in this, not that she's at all badly-spoken in Green Wing but she sounds slightly 'posher' here.

that what i thought...lol when i watched it i never registered it as her..but of course it is oh i would love to be in doctor who!
