From British Sitcom

The special will be available to buy on DVD from Monday 8th January. The DVD will feature the 90 minute special plus exclusive unseen extras including deleted scenes, an alternative ending plus a behind-the-scenes featurette and a cast and crew audio commentary.

We'll have pre-order links for Amazon.co.uk and Play.com on our website shortly, plus a copy of the cover art. The recommended retail price has been set at £19.99 but we suspect that the online retailers will undercut this.

Following the success of the previous signing sessions it's very likely 4DVD will arrange another event for this release although that hasn't been confirmed yet... stay tuned for info!

it better be a good alternate ending because the one in titanic wasn't even an alternate ending just a bit longer then before - that really pissed me off :angry:

The alternative ending in Pride and Prejudice was a waste of time. I bet it's one for the other ship. Or maybe it involves Caroline and Martin :lol:

orr maybe there are a few alternate enddings - like with confetti there was one for each coupple - also karl said his perfect ending was for martin to get with sue white so maybe they did a few random ones - who knows?? i'm really excited about the dvd now - and the audio commentary too wooo :excited:

i much prefer outtakes they r such a laugh!!!
but GW isnt exactly like any other show and im sure it will do us proud! :P

omg i am going to have to get my mum to hide my dvd or something because i have 4 exams in january, including my maths AS that i really need to revise 4!!!

i want there to be a WHOLE section of just improv scenes that got deleted - so basically steve and michelle scenes - how good would that be??

or just steve scenes would suit me :P

they should just make a whole compilation of the improv bits it wud b well interesting to see how much is improv that we dont even realise!

they could make a whole other dvd of just outtakes and shiz it couald be : green wing : the stuff you never thought you'd see

then it would give us an excuse to see them all again :lol:

Heehee, I'm loving your thoughts on what would be cool to have on a GW DVD, Guyoline and Queen. I would love to see an improv collection.

Cannot wait for the release and I will try so effing hard to make it to a signing if there is one. I'm still not over not going to the book signing. :( :( :( :(

This means there could be potentially two more signings. One for the DVD and one for the series 2 script book.

I really hope there's a singing, although if there is I'm going to have to miss a Biology lesson (assuming it's on the day of the release), and almost certainly get myself there and back alone. Plus my parents may not be too pleased about me missing my mum's birthday - but it's Green Wing! I can't not go, if there's a chance.
