A new flic by me....lol.....was bored started writing, and well i was never good at waiting, so here the first part!!

Another day, another season.

It was the begining of spring, the trees already seemed alive and the sparrows sang a welcoming song as she walked along the morning paths, frost sprinkled over the muddy grass, morning had arrived.
Finishing a shift that went on for 25 hours and twenty eight minutes had left her feeling empty and soon brought her back to where she died, where she hides, in an old house, thankfully one that wasnt haunted by her past, only haunted by the usless memories that invaded her head.

Just thoughts

Would her home be where she had left it all those years ago, along with the man she loved. Everything inside her wanted to go back the only thing stopping her was herself. She couldn't go back, people might remember her...
'Whats that girls name? didnt she use to work here?'
'Yeah, she was in love with two men, left without a word, broke their hearts'
...Leaving seemed the easy answer at the time, but it broke her. She refused to let any one in, when she moved to her new hospital..
'Why did you move here?'
'Change'
'Man, or woman in your life?'
'no'
'oohhh'
..it was easy that way, no one needed to know her.

Hmmmm, how long is solitary Caroline going to last? Not much of a life for her. It can't REALLY be easy that way!... Oh, unless she finds someone at her new hospital?...

Im not liking this flic at all at the moment but i promise its going to get better!! the first few paragraphs are like a long introduction, sort of!!!

Hard ground

She stepped on to the ice road, carefully taking each step to the other side, and swiftly walked up the steps to her house, she walked along the short path, slipping on the ice she quickly put her hands on the ground breaking her fall, unable to stop her knee from cracking on the ground 'f*ck' She hopped back to her feet, wincing as she walked to the front door 'f*ck', as she unlocked the door and pushed her way in she stepped on the mail 'f*ck', throwing her bag to the ground she, she held on to the wall as she limped into the kitchen, opening the freezer she pulled out an ice pack, rolling up the wet trouser leg, discovered an already bruised knee cap, gently she placed the cold ice pack over it, 'f*ck' she gritted her teeth as her knee met the cold.

oooh this is interesting jess, i'm loveing the fact that we don't actually know who it is, i'm guessing caro as that seems to be the obvious one but i could be wrong :blink: it's really great so far though well done :notworthy

Poor whoever it is. I liked the repetition of 'f*ck' in this instalment. It brought some laughs to a horrid situation. It does sound like Caroline, though, doesn't it, this? That would be the sort of thing that woud happen to her.

Routine

She woke early, and climbed into the shower, banging her knee on the shower door 'f*ck', she could tell already another bad day, another normal day. She stood under the large shower head as the cold water dropped down on her, slowly getting warmer, squrting shampoo into her hand, she began to massage it into her hair, she closed her eyes tight as the soft white foam ran down her face.
She bite into the cold toast, as the hair dryer, ruffled her hair, opening yesterdays mail she sighed 'Bills'.
She walked to kick fit, hand over the check, and climbed into her car, and made her way to the hospital.

awww, luv it Jess, update soon... who will Caroline see??? I hope it's Guy, oh by the way, I've posted my new fic for u :)

Crash

As she pulled up near the front entrance and carefully parked. As soon as the automatic doors opened, Dr Rowe, pushed her back out 'Car crash, M11' he helped her up into the Ambulance 'theres two casualties, one minor injuries, the other is in a bad way' he slammed the back doors of the ambulance shut. She jolted to the side as the Ambulance turned the corner, with sirens blaring, blue lights flashing.

Ooh, who's in the car crash?

Two casualties - Mac and Guy.

Blue lights

The Ambulance stopped suddenly, the sirens stopped but the blue lights continued to flash, as the back door was opened, John took her hand as she jumped down, groaning as she bent her knee, with the medic bag held tight under her arm, she watched as the other Paramedic went to see the man by the side of the road, John took her arm as they began to run over to the mangled car, feet naging hard on the concret.
A Police officer sat nervously next to the driver holding his head, asking him about his day, trying to keep the driver a wake.

Perhaps it's Guy, update soon, i love it it's great!

Well then here you go.....

In her stride

She was soon placing a neck brace around the man's neck, she didn't look at his face as she covered the man's face with the mask, she blocked out the man's mumbles as she took into account the situation, the leg had a twisted bit of metal penatrating part way through it, from what she could see, it didnt seem to come out the other end, the day light casted dark shadows on the floor of blood.
'How long till the fire men get here'
'7 minutes max'
'I want them here now' she shouted back as she placed swabs around the wound, she put an IV drip in explain to the driver as she did so, the officers stood watching as she worked, she looked up at him and handed him the drip.
'Hold it up, sqeause it gently'.
'Okay, Mr..' she looked up at the officer who shock his head 'Okay Sir what your name' she said as she lifted the mask and moved her ear closer to the warm breath of his mouth as he whispered 'Caroline'

Her eyes widen as she turned and looked at the mans face, he looked different, but she could never forget those eyes, she paused lost in his eyes, before putting the mask back, and taking his hand 'Guy!' her eyes filled with all the tears she had held back over the years.
'Its doing to be okay, im going to get you out, its going to be okay' she said trying to reasure him and herself.
Her hand reached up, and stroked those all to familiar dark curls 'Its going to be okay'.
The sirens of the fire engine, covered his voice, as they ran over to assess the vehical.

Getting out

Sparks flew as they cut into the metal frame of the car, she held his leg still with her hand, in an attempted to slow the bleeding.
'Its been along time' she said forcing a smile 'Fancy meeting like this' she added stifling a laugh.
'Miss me' he whispered back
'Everyday' she said squeasing his hand
The fire men lifted the roof off the car, causing the var to rock slightly.
'Sorry Sir, okay this is whats going to happen in the next few minutes' they both stared into the fire officers face as he explained how he was doing to remove the car door.
Caroline held the guard up across Guys face and body, it felt weird to be so close to him again it brought back those butterflies in her stomach, back where they belonged, as if they had never left, but now they were there for more than one reason.

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY, I don't know what I'm more pleased at, that i've had a chapter dedicated to me, or that Guy is alive, and that Caroline loves him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol ohh yeah him, he was the driver off the other car!! He's not important..he crashed into guy, cos he was stoopid and tried to change lane when there clearly wasn't enough room, he's properly has concusion hard to say!!

Motorway

The Ambulance made its way quickly down the motorway, Caroline did her best to slow the bleeding but it didnt seem to be working, Guy flatlined, she felt her heart stop with his, as the bleeping echoed through the Ambulance 'Stop!' she screamed.
The Ambulance came to a hault, straight away John started compressions, Caroline packed around the wound, as the Ambulance drived slowly along the side of the road, 'Its no use, we're gonna have to shock him' John shouted to the driver, who turned the engine off, Caroline watched as he unbuttoned Guy's shirt, he looked so peacful, she jumped with horror, as the electic pulse ran through Guys body forcing it to jump from the bed, the bleeping steady and his heart started. She listened to the rumble of the engine as it gained speed.
