I think they're using the original text, just changing the play's setting.

And they chose 1950's Cuba?

The RSC quite often use different time settings - don't worry none of the dialogue will be changed ;)

I'm going on the 7th :D (but my friend now can't come with cos she's in s how that night :() Anyho, some texts are pertrayed in a diff setting to the original, for instance, I saw Macbeth set in Africa during a war- it was amazing. (Typical drama student talking!) Anyway, enjoy...!
