Seeing some people's usernames has got me wondering why they chose those particular monikers, and if they were just being random or they're significant in some way. So, if you feel like indulging my curiosity, then please, explain away here :)

Mine is in reference to me being a kitten assassin and being the eventual bringer of doom to you all. In the mean time however, GW keeps me busy :)

Well I'd like to look all clever and say IMO stands for In My Opinion (which it does of course) but it's short for Imogen :)

lol, well when I was signing up for this forum I cud not think of anything cool and beside me of the floor was a Elle magazine so I just added doll to the end and ta da, moi name!

Long, long ago, when I was a very poor student, I lived with a bunch of equally poor artists and musicians in a dodgy basement apartment on a street called Castlewood Avenue.

As I mentioned above, we were very broke and the day before my 21st Birthday our electricity was cut off! Not the kind of people to be put off by a small matter like the lack of a stereo and an electric light, my flatmates bought a bag of tea light candles and took out their guitars and I had probably the best birthday of my life!

The entire apartment was covered in tiny candles so someone redubbed the address as candlewood instead of castlewood - and it stuck.

I used this as my moniker for years but when I joined yahoo it was already taken! I figured if I was jinxed, I might as well admit it - so my moniker changed from candlewood to jinxedwood.

By the time I joined here, I was too used to jinxedwood to go back :-)

Mine's just a quote from Murder City and I thought it sounded Green-Wing-ish! My other net-names have much longer, complicated stories!

quite simple: when i first ventured onto this site i had only just been introduced to the wacky world of green wing and loved it immediately!!! hence the name newestgreenwingfan01 - the 01 meant i was a number one green wing fan but quite a new one!!

the story of mine:

i had just gotten my new phone which had blue tooth and i had never had blue tooth before and i'm not a big fan of manuals so i was fiddling around with my phone whilst walking home after one of my GCSE exams. So someone was trying to send me a song and i was sorting it out and i decided to change my blue tooth name. i was with port-ahh lover at the time and she asked what i was gonna change it to so i said "i dunno. my name?" and she said i should change it to something more interesting so i said "like what?" and she said "how about swiss boy lover or something"

i started laughing and instantly fell in love with it since i love my darling swiss boy!

so yeah, it kinda stuck!

My friends started calling me Little Red a few years go, as I'm extremly short and have red hair. I love the name, so I use it on all forums.

mine has a rather long story. my friend claire loves Hi5 which is a childrens program on channel 5 early in the mornings. One day many moons ago they played a song which went "my name is enzo, I am a rhino, and I know, I know about the jungle and the animals that live there". She got this stuck in her head and when i saw her later she got it stuck in my head and my friend sarahs head. we were also decorating biscuits with sugar animals and they had blue rhinos which we got a bit obsessed abou. so yeah thats the story behind enzotherhino

Nah, I've been nicknamed Tinkerbell ever since I can remember I dressed as a fairy when I was about 2 and my father said I looked like Tinkerbell, it stuck and now most peole know me as Tinkerbell...........I just added an underscore and some x's and viola!
