Okay, I had heard that they were making Mac's girlfriend from the first series (before he got with Caroline, obv) a series regular next time, because she was so funny...

Eh, I didn't appreciate her comedic talents, in fairness...

I think I read something about her being funny because she had no sense of humour so she didn't get anything. Personally I found her very annoying and overly posh. Maybe if she became a regular she'd develop a bit more of a personality though?

Just goes to show you shouldn't always believe what you read.

Anyway she was the perfect 10 in Guy's chart, far far too perfect to be in GW full time :)

I didn't like her. In the first series she seemed like the antichrist. Until the second series came along and we met the baby killer, that is.

She was also very stupid.

And she fell for Guy's rubbish mum's dead story. I would've been very annoyed if she were back in the second series, Holly was good, at least for the twisting of the storyline :)

wish we cud have seen her get angry with mac over him not getting angry at caroline lol! I wonder if she knew he liked caroline lol

Yeah, I wanted to see that, and I would've liked to've seen the scene where Mac asks Caroline out and she says 'I would rather eat poo', I think that's a quite strong statement from Caroline, especially since, even when they weren't *that* friendly, they weren't enemies.

General cast question - I saw someone mention in the Julian thread that they had heard a senakot advert and it sort of looked like someone from GW had done a voice over for it - who was it and which advert?

"..The celebrations continued at the Critics' Circle Awards, which were announced at the Prince of Wales on Tuesday. Among the winners were Rufus Sewell, Kathleen Turner (pictured), Tamsin Greig, Andrew Garfield, Connie Fisher and Rock ‘N' Roll.

Jude Kelly will celebrate the reopening of the Royal Festival Hall by staging Carmen Jones between July and September. The production will feature a large cast and chorus, and an orchestra of 60. Another new production announced this week was Joe Penhall's latest play Landscape With Weapon, which will open at the National Cottesloe in April. The production is directed by Roger Michell and stars Tom Hollander and Julian Rhind-Tutt."
