Title: Fan Forum Meet 2
Description: Plan it early!
PigRescuer - November 5, 2006 08:55 PM (GMT)
Methinks we need a new thread. :D
If we plan it early, as MBg said, people will realise it is a great commitment and will not be sick.
So.
Whta do we do?
When?
Where?
guyoline - November 5, 2006 08:58 PM (GMT)
I think we should have one early december
but the big convention thing that i'm planning will be early december so that can be our major one but we could have like a christmas - shoppingy one at the begining of december maybe??
newestgreenwingfan01 - November 5, 2006 09:00 PM (GMT)
:cry i think im gonna be avoiding this thread now, once again me no likey living in ireland sometimes
Mac'sBestGirl - November 5, 2006 09:01 PM (GMT)
TBH... I cant really commit to any date before I break from uni for xmas... which is around the first/second week of December... and we get a month or so off..... so if it could be in that time it would be GREAT!!!!
You see- that way we cud do a weekday and I wouldnt have such a big 'do what the bf says' commitment!
Like I said to PR... r we staying London ish... or r us Londoners gonna leave our comfort zone?!
swiss boy lover - November 5, 2006 09:04 PM (GMT)
may i point out that it'll be FREEZING in december, and there are gonna be heeeards of christmas shoppers everywhere so can we plan something to AVOID these things? lol! i get extremely moany in cold AND crowded places.
christmas shoppers are VISCIOUS!!!!!!
i can do whatever, whenever though so all is cool!
although there are quite a few birthdays in december so hopefully they won't collide.
PigRescuer - November 5, 2006 09:14 PM (GMT)
I reckon after Christmas.
But not too late after, cos we want the Uni people to be free.
But I don't mind going Christamas shopping with you Ros. :D
I think London is good this tme (although Dini, do you relaly count yourself as in London?)
The next one should be in Seaford, where 1) littlered lives, and 2) the cliff where they drive off this.
But lets wait till it's warmer, shall we?
guyoline - November 5, 2006 09:14 PM (GMT)
well we need to have LR and SBL celebrations by the end of this month and PR and PL celebrations next month don't we???
but i think we can make them like mini meets and then have a BIG one in january at some point where we do what i said in the convention thread?
Mac'sBestGirl - November 5, 2006 09:17 PM (GMT)
Im ALMOST in London! If I drive 10 miles east im in!! January sounds like a good time!!
And I was definitly thinking we shud go to the coast and see LR in the summer!
JRT/SM ultimate fan! - November 5, 2006 09:44 PM (GMT)
:o I have to go to this one!!!!
And i hope everyone can come. So itll be in London.......in Jan. YAY!
So i guess we'd be sightseeing again?
guyoline - November 5, 2006 09:48 PM (GMT)
will we have time for sightseeing??
if we are doing the quiz and the games and everything??
and where are we actually going to have it cause if we want to do those things we may have to invade someone's house - we could possibly use mine if necessairy but i'm not sure
cause it IS jan it it would be cold so park may not be the best place - but where else could we play spoooon of destiny and do the quiz and make chocolate towers??
PigRescuer - November 5, 2006 09:50 PM (GMT)
I'm not guaranteeing anything.
But I mayb be able to talk my mum into the use of my loft.
The only problem is I live in the middle of no where.
guyoline - November 5, 2006 09:51 PM (GMT)
yes you do but that doesn't bother me
and if you can't i'll just force my family out of the house on that particular day
swiss boy lover - November 5, 2006 09:57 PM (GMT)
its only about a half hour train ride from me PR so i'm not fussed.
i would offer the services of my house, but my house is SOOO unsociable!!! mainly due to the fact that my mum is the living version of monica from friends.
guyoline - November 5, 2006 10:00 PM (GMT)
 but i love your mum she is so amusing
so it looks like it is either going to be at mine or PR's but we can always meet somehwere in london first
oooh if we go to mine that will save me time and effort  as i have the spoon of destiny bowls and stuff
and also my garden is quite cool and we could possibly play guyball if everyone made their own top miler
littlered - November 6, 2006 05:02 PM (GMT)
:excited *runs around forum squeeing madly* I love both of these ideas! I really want another forum meet - I don't care where we go, just as long as it happens. And I'd love for anyone who wants to to come to Seaford next summer, just as long as people can get there.
xpingux - November 6, 2006 05:09 PM (GMT)
eee i hope i can come to the next meet!
i will be finally able to meet some of you :)
Port-ahh Lover - November 6, 2006 05:21 PM (GMT)
well if it's jan then the dolls shall (hopefully) be ready by then
PigRescuer - November 6, 2006 06:24 PM (GMT)
I realised - my brother goes back to uni Jan 14th. So my parents will be taking him up that day or the day before. And my sisters going back to France for New Years, I think.
Therefore, my house should be empty.
But does that mean the otehr uni people will be going back that weekend?
XTinker_Bellx - November 6, 2006 07:57 PM (GMT)
right I should be there this time, I'll be 16 by that time and mum's boyfriend has a place near London so that shouldn't be a problem.
guyoline - November 7, 2006 04:50 PM (GMT)
:jawdrop you may be able to come tinks yay :D :excited :woohoo *does a celebratory dance*
as soon as we confirm the dates make sure you can get here :D
it better still be a surprise ;) lets hope they didn't read this
Guy is for life!! - November 7, 2006 05:07 PM (GMT)

guyoline - November 7, 2006 05:10 PM (GMT)

XTinker_Bellx - November 7, 2006 07:24 PM (GMT)
it's funny isn't it that most of the forum is based around London but then theirs the odd few that are totally far away like me and Sally.
guyoline - November 7, 2006 07:26 PM (GMT)
yeah i know it sucks that you guys live so far away - plus i'm sooo poor that it's hard for me to travel places all the time but i wish i could visit you all and maybe oneday i will....
XTinker_Bellx - November 7, 2006 07:28 PM (GMT)

There's loads of you Scottish people.
Why don't you arrange one?
Tinks, I'm not sure it's so much people living in London as can get to London quite easily. All roads lead to London, you know. :D
PigRescuer - November 7, 2006 07:38 PM (GMT)

Realise it's a big commitment? I think I did realise that, especially since not being able to go last time meant £26 down the drain AND I couldn't move without being ill.
And once I got better, I just felt awful I couldn't have been there, that I'd had to be ill on that day.
I might be able to come, all depends on your definite planned day for it :)
JRT/SM ultimate fan! - November 8, 2006 03:26 PM (GMT)
Can i just say i will go to Scotland, wales and London. Even north ireland if i need to.lol

Sorry, kitty, i should have phrased that better.
The sick part waws aimed at you, the big commitment part was aimed at people such as Dini's boyfried.
Sorry if it wasn't clear!
And we're trying to work out a date, but I wanted to know when people go back to uni?
guyoline - November 8, 2006 07:05 PM (GMT)

guyoline - November 9, 2006 11:48 AM (GMT)
