So, according to Martin, Guy gave him the tape because he was very drunk and thought he was a priest; we can assume that this was somewhere between Episiode 9 of Series 1 and Episode 1 of Series 2 (because obviously the tape wasn't made until Episode 9, and we didn't see it happen in Episode 1). So how did Mac know that Guy had mistaken Martin for a priest? He must have been in an coma at the time, and I highly doubt anyone would have mentioned it to him (plus, he talks about it as if he was there) - it makes no sense.

well, the tape thing is in episode 3, and by the sounds of it, guy gave martin the tape the night before that episode! and mac woke up in ep 1... so it does make sense!

There's obviously a gap between the eps, he wouldn't be allowed back at work straight away with no check ups or anything, and we know he had a check up cos he talks about it at the begihnning of 2.2

The whole tape thing is in 2.2, after Mac wakes up.

They're not all teh night after each other.

In fact, I'm pretty sure they wanted them to be about a week apart, because Mac's memory was blurry about 8 weeks before the incident, ie,from just after Caroline arrived.

They were calmly ignoring teh fact that 1.1 and 1.2 and 1.5 and 1.6 are the night after each other.

Anyway.

Only I've always thought that they were two different outfits (ie. we never get to see Martin as a priest, we only hear about it, because the joke has already been set up by the fact that he was previously using an equally ineffective Michael Jackson disguise)
