swiss boy lover - September 29, 2006 04:08 PM (GMT)
If it was Mac, why would he put classical music on...?

this makes me think it might not be green wing...?

JRT/SM ultimate fan! - September 29, 2006 04:11 PM (GMT)
What does mac say in greenwing that makes you think he hates classical music? lol It might not be the kinks but im gonna keep on hopeing.lolz

littlered - September 29, 2006 04:12 PM (GMT)
I thought Mac liked classical music. After all, he did say he liked opera. Maybe he changed his mind after Sue sang at him...

JRT/SM ultimate fan! - September 29, 2006 04:14 PM (GMT)
Ahhh y'see! lolz I just asked that lad or whoever (lol) that put up the video and he said its a mangan/rhind-tutt road trip movie.lolz

swiss boy lover - September 29, 2006 04:20 PM (GMT)
lol i dunno... its coz he likes the kinks, so why would he turn off rock music to put on classical?

but then again, i have noooooooooooooooooo idea what i'm talking about so i'll shut up.

xpingux - September 29, 2006 04:23 PM (GMT)

DEATH DRIVE?!?!

kittyofdoom - September 29, 2006 05:26 PM (GMT)
I can't see it being from episode 9, because, well, I don't know, I just imagined it'd still be set in the hospital. Unless it's like a few months after episode eight, and it's like someone's fanfic on here (I've read so many I find it hard to differentiate at times) where Guy and Mac were going around doing all the things Mac wanted to do. But that would mean Mac's dying :cry and that just isn't going to happen!

Unless they *think* he's dying and he's actually not, and Caroline discovers this whilst they're away...ooh so many ideas!

I haven't read a fic like that before.

Althuogh it sounds like a good one.

That looks great, i want more!!!

This is intriging. Anyway Mac is into classical - he was off to see La Traviata with Emily during the September Fool Scene ;)

I think it's just a scene that they deleted because it just didn't fit in with any of the storylines. It could have been Mac driving Guy to work during his Court Ban, but it wouldn't explain Guy then driving the car - and it would be a heck of a long way to work if Mac's falling asleep - awww

Although I do like the idea of JRT and SM doing another Show together :notworthy

PigRescuer - September 29, 2006 07:59 PM (GMT)
And a Show with a capital S, eh?

completely O/T, but i just remembered this - my great uncle's in La Traviata!

hehe

Ooh, that reminds me of how much I love Mac's accents - the way he says "La Traviata" makes me go weak at the knees. Very off topic, but I felt it needed saying. :)

swiss boy lover - September 29, 2006 08:36 PM (GMT)
oh yeeeaaaah!

i forgot about that.

i apologise for my stupidness!

xpingux - September 29, 2006 08:41 PM (GMT)
It's going to be so weird and different when Episode 9 is aired becasue of all the theories and all the fanfics.

IMO - September 29, 2006 10:18 PM (GMT)
Just had to watch this again before going to bed. I thought I'd imagined them being in a left hand drive car, on the wrong side of the road - but I hadn't.

Maybe it is a Mangan/Tutt road movie :raiseroof . I wish this person would say where they'd found this it's starting to bug me now

Although it's strange how it's suddenly popped up at the same time as more bits are being leaked out from the Series 2 DVD - maybe it is just a deleted scene.

But why are they in a "lets be stupid and drive on the wrong side of the road country" if its Green Wing. Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

OK it's another dream sequence

*thumps head against wall and screams*

loudly

xpingux - September 29, 2006 10:34 PM (GMT)
aww haha
i keep thinking loads of things
i just wish i knew what it was!

madelinenancy - September 30, 2006 08:17 AM (GMT)

i hav no idea what i was talkin about

The 'mysterious' clip of Steve and Julian is for an advert (but we don't know what for)

Someone asked that at the signing and that is what they said back

IMO - October 4, 2006 11:39 AM (GMT)
yay someone managed to ask them. An advert - ohhhh I wonder what it's for :notworthy

swiss boy lover - October 4, 2006 11:43 AM (GMT)
 an advert? FOR WHAT?!?!?!

kittyofdoom - October 4, 2006 12:00 PM (GMT)
Argh, I just want to know what it is! Didn't someone at the signing say episode 9 isn't set in the hospital much? Or am I imaginging it. If it was said, maybe this is why...

IMO - October 4, 2006 12:25 PM (GMT)
Well we already know Episode 9 involves a funeral and filming at the National Trust house, so that's two things out of the hospital.

I want to know what the adverts for. I hope it isn't for something stupid like antacid tablets or bread rolls.

:roflmao

i think it will be a very effective bread-roll advert.

it probably is for episode 9

National Trust house? How did I miss this bit of news?

PR posted this in the Wedding Spoiler Thread ;)

QUOTE
"Award-winning Channel 4 comedy Green Wing will also return, with some off-the-wall wedding shenanigans filmed at the Hertfordshire estate of Ashridge. Their first request was for a roof big enough to host a wedding reception and low enough to throw a guest off"

I posted about this a while ago, but someone said that their mum mum spotted it in her National Trust magazine recently.

However, Ashridge Estates doesn't seem to have a house, just lots of woodland walks and parkland
