Title: Secret Policeman's Ball
Description: Royal Albert Hall 14 October
IMO - October 4, 2006 04:26 PM (GMT)
It has been confirmed that Green Wing will be making an appearance, but as yet no mention of which members of the cast will be involved. Ohhh and Dylan Moran but he's totally off topic here, so I'll shut up about him.
Here's the link.
POLICEMAN'S BALL There's talk of it being televised :)

I think I've read somewhere that it's the 'Big 3' so as to speak - Tamsin, Julian and Steve. But only problem is, I can't recall where i read that, and I've got a cold and my head's fuzzy so I can't think!!

LATEST BALLS
Friday 6th October
With only a week to go the comedy extravaganza of the millennium, we've been keeping ourselves ever so slightly busy this week.
First up, Leigh Francis of Bo Selecta fame has decided to join our gang of performers on the night. We love you, Leigh.
We've finalised the transmission date with Channel 4 (all to be revealed).
We've put together some lovely extras for our special DVD, which'll be in the shops just in time to fill christmas stockings.
We've tested our 'equipment' to make sure the live nationwide cinecasts actually works. This is important.
We've put on the finishing touches to the lovely animated films you'll see if you're lucky enough to get to the show.
We've announced the winner of the 4laughs script sketch.
We've got hold of some bonus footage of our lovable troupe of comedy losers who'll never make it to the Ball.
And we've got a running order for the show. And it's pretty bloody amazing, if we do say so ourselves.
Hold on to your hats, the Ball is Back (almost).

The Secret Policeman's balll is a tradition that's been going on for ages, to highlight human rights, or the lack of them and they are using comedy to get people involved.

I can;t wait until it's on TV - my paretns actually went to see it at the cinema, but I didn't realise until yesterday morning. They said that the GW cast's sketch didn't work very well, which annoyed me.
