in series one, episode 9, when Caroline goes up to Mac and Emmy, and confronts her about being a fraud, Mac says "i am such a good judge of character"

i was wondering what he meant by that. because he knew about the other emily lewis westbrook.

its just always confused me...

He's winding caroline up by playing along with it all. he already knows, so he's having a bit of a joke at her expense (because he and Emmy know that he knows, and so he is actually a good judge of character. does that make sense?

Well at the time we all think it's done in seriousness as well, because we also don't know he knows already :) That sounds very complicated.
