I just wondered what people thought of the book group? i got series 1 for my birthday the other week and brought series 2 a few days ago and loved it! I dind't find it particularly funny but in places it was rather amusing but I found myself hooked on what happened next and I felt soooo sorry for janice by the end of it - she reminded myself of me (for a few reasons) but it was odd seeing her being far more sane then she is in green wing which was a little dissapointing as i love her insanity really, but i guess in this she does become overly passionate about farmer's rights and talks to herself all the time soo she is pretty mad,

what do you guys think of it?

i watched it when it was on the tv quite a while ago so i dont really remember it that well. i just remember when the killed off barney (i think?) when he overdosed on drugs. i was really sad when that happened cos it was meant to be a comedy and i thought something might have happened between the american woman and him. i know his brother was meant to be funny but i really hated him lol! just shows they do kill off characters in comedies...but maybe we shouldnt go there lol........

oh i love this programme, i got it a couple of months ago and was completely hooked, in the second series i think janice starts slowly becoming a lot like sue, especially when she goes to church to confess in that cape :lol:
