Title: Alan At His Best
Description: With whom?

Little_Simba - September 11, 2006 04:40 PM (GMT)
Statham is always funny but how do you reckon the real best of him is brought out?

For me, Alan and Joanna are the ultimate in televisual entertainment.

Oh, bugger! Bugger, bugger, bugger. I've just realised this is the Mark Heap forum. I meant to post this in the Dr Alan Statham one. Oops. I'm so sorry. :ph43r: :blush

This is the first poll I've ever done and I knew I'd do something wrong but I didn't think it'd be anything as stupid as this.

Good question! I have to say Joanna, they're just so incredibly funny. But I do love any scene with him and Lyndon too.

I reckon with Boyce - they're v funny together.

DOn't worry LS, i'm sure it'll be moved for you.

I've been different and gone for the scenes with Mac. There aren't that many of them, but I find them hilarious. I think a lot of the Joanna scenes with him are very slapstick which isn't so much my sort of thing

i voted for with mac, i love it when they have a scene together

I never thought of putting a With Lyndon choice, sorry.

I'm torn between Boyce and Mac - I love him when he's with people who antagonise him, it's hilarious. I think I'm going to have to go with Boyce though. "What's this?" "It's a bone." That scene is so funny! :roflmao

I voted for Alan with other people, it was so close to being Alan and Mac. But then I remembered his scenes outside the hospital, and in his office with the politician guy. They're all so funny, I had to vote for that one :)

PigRescuer - September 14, 2006 07:02 PM (GMT)
I still think you can't beat 'you can't make me laugh by poking me' and 'i bought you. for thirty p'

Yeah, you know, I now wish I'd made this poll one of those ones where you can pick two or three of the choices. Bugger. Oh, well, sorry. My first attempt at a poll was bound to go a bit wrong. Was it IMO who moved this to the right section, btw? If so, thanks. I'm still annoyed with myself for putting it in the wrong place.

What was I going to say? Oh, yes, that's right... I have to say I fancy the man who played the politician who interviewed Alan. Saw him in a play in March and thoght 'PHWOAR!' :blush Did anyone see he was in Festival, btw? :)

He was that brilliant guy with all the hand movements wasn't he?

bingle - September 20, 2006 04:48 PM (GMT)
Hand movements?

He played the partner of the radio presenter/interviewer who sleeps with the Irish comic. But what hand movements?

It was ages ago that I watched it, so I might have forgotten any hand movements!!!

Little_Simba - October 28, 2006 01:17 AM (GMT)
I don't remember the hand movements either.

Incidentally, saw him again as he's in Spamalot that I went to see the other weekend. He's lovely.
