Saw a trailer for this at the cinema tonight and got all excited... but then there was no clip of JRT... :(

What were your impressions from the trailer, Bingle? Does it look like a film worth seeing (even if it weren't for certain cast members' being in it, I mean)?

It looked quite good, even though it has Sienna Miller in it.

i just saw this. it is absolutly brilliant. I don't think Noel Fielding is in it though. it is really funny when mark heap dies though. its a bit like the deleted scene of wink murder where steve dies. lol And robert de niro as a gay pirate is just hilarious!

I'm tempted to see this film as I just can't decide if it's going to be my sort of film or not but there is only one way to find out. I like things set in the past, for a start, though. When is this set? Looks like it's somewhere around the 1600s to me.

I do q. like the bits in the Rule The World vid. And I like the song a lot. I never thought I'd turn into a TT fan but their comeback is luring me to them!

when mark first came on screen my mum grabbed my arm and said it's alan!
then she did the same with julian and she didn't realise that sarah was in it but when she did she said that's thingy! :lol:

how did he (JRT) die? i got confused, was he iced to death?
and who was sarah in it? i saw her name in the credits and didnt missed her in the film

she was one of the witches.

The ghosts were brilliant - I want to know how JRT's ghost died as well, I'm sure they didn't say but he does look like he's been frozen :lol:

i think they did say, but just as an offhand remark thing, so not completly obvious! we could just ask the author of the book! i found his blog, forgotten his name now though

edit:it is by Neil Gaiman. and on the amazon website you can read the first 6 pages, it looks quite a good book actually

when mark heap's ghost was perving at the two kissing, my mum said he hasn't changed has he! :lol:

i think we should just give praise to Jonathan Ross' wife for writing this fab story because it was great
I loved sarah in it i thought she was really good and it was so funny when i realised walliams was in it and I started poking hollie :lol:

and oh my gosh that TT song is scarily good. at the end I was singing it thinking I know this song only to realise it was take that and i had heard it for the first time yesterday on JR :lol:

apparantly, Secondus was the brother to kill Quartus (Julian) by locking him in a freezer

and also in the trailer there was that line which went something like
"headache? i beg to differ"
that wasn't in the film ws it because i can't remember it being in the film!
