It's been a while since I've drawn anything.
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/50001415/ If any suggestions what to do better, let me know. The next time I draw something, I want it to be better than this. Also I've put a couple of stories on the FIR but the only input I seem to get is from members who don't even like this kind of inflation. It doesn't bother me that much really but if somebody thinks something is wrong with my writing, please let me know. Also if there aren't that many fans of full body inflation, I'll gladly stop putting stories here. |

Other than suggesting that you try harder on symetry and add some shadows, I can't think of anything more than to just practice.
That is, unless you meant the subject matter. -------------------- |

Well, that's the thing. It seems lately the only critique I get from the FIR on my stories is people who prefer popping or belly inflation and I don't really write that but I do put in time and effort into these new stories of mine. Don't get me wrong. I value your opinions and I thank you for being one of the few here to comment. I just thought other people would enjoy reading them as well. But I suppose with two Kagome stories dominating the Inflation Art section, you can't really expect people to check out the other stuff. Either that or I'm a lousy writer. Whatever. Maybe I'll stop putting stuff here. |

Now that's just giving up. I actually take time to double-check the art section once in a while to see if there's any new art. Now, to be honest, I'm not a big fan of stories like what the two Kagome ones are right now. I prefer short stories that are all written up in one burst, and aren't like small bites of something much bigger. To be honest, I really don't read either of those threads. As for me commenting, I am never sure what to say that's nice, constructive, and helpful all at the same time, so to that extent, I usually don't bother writing too much as to how someone can improve their image/style/etc. And to be extra honest, I have an appreciation for most forms of expansion, both method and result.
Having said all of that, now I MUST write up a little about your new piece. Personally, I think the inflation is a little fast for the 'comic' as I call it. You might not consider it that, but to me, any pic that's divided to convey a story, like the one we're commenting on now, I consider a comic. Also, it seems like she blows up a good bit, then just stops, and the reference in size at the end (the other two people) makes it seem like she didn't blow up too much. Other than my previous comments on how you should try to convey the story and what you should do to improve on that, I think you did pretty fine work. -------------------- ![]() Which FF Character Are You? Tsh. What's this all about? Do YOU like doing the stories and artwork? If so, keep doing it. There may not be people who post about it, but there are also many members on this site that I see online, but never post anything. This is FIR, I know there are people who like full-body inflation, and so even if people aren't posting in the thread, I'm sure there are people who have read and enjoyed your stories. I'm one of the more non-inflation people here; it's sort of a derivative of me liking thick girls. So the types of inflation I like are the "realistic" ones, except I don't care much for preg-style either. Despite that, I still liked this comic. I may not have found it arrousing, but I still found it entertaining that she inflated to the point where people didn't recognize her, thus fufilling the original claim that the scarf would enhance her stealth. There's a lot of inflation or weight gain art that I'll look at, even though I don't like the style, because there's a story behind it that I find more interesting than the picture itself. The same can be said of your writings. I liked the Peach Inflation story; not because of the inflation, but because it put the Mario world into a different tone and I thought that was cool. Most stories like this, inflation or WG, hinge entirely on the fetish and that's fine, since it's your target audience. But if you want to appeal to more than just that audience, then the story itself would have to be interesting and well done. I typically pass by most stories since they're little more than quick verbal fanservice, and I guess that I've seen so many stories that just hinge on this that it's turned me off to the whole genere for the most part. But stuff like what you do is what keeps me checking out stories and artwork that I wouldn't normally be interested in, because sometimes I find things that were a lot better than I would have expected. |

I suppose you're right. I'm sorry for acting like that. I'll do whatever I can to make sure that never happens again.

I appologise for not commenting aswell.... ^^;
Truth be told, the ending confused me a little...and I'm one of those who don't like that kind of inflation by and large. I would have commented anyways...had I not been at a slight loss for whether she had just become unrecognisable to her aquaintances, or whether she'd actually become something like invisible...and the inflation was just an added effect. -------------------- |

As UsagiJin said before, symmetry is something that should be worked on as well as shadowing. I also believe that it might be nice to accentuate other features both before, during, and after expansion. Before expansion, give her a shape that would be interesting with or without expansion OR something that expansion would help a great deal (hourglass or straight line). During, add some lines to show her body moving itself, adding fewer or more depending on the speed of the expansion (faster=more, slower=less). When the expansion is done, don't be afraid to add more than just a sphere to the blank paper, give her bust a little body for example.
Funny though, I give it 1 thumb up...2 out of 4 stars -------------------- |
