Man, artist's block has kicked me in the balls again and im down for the count. What do you artists do to not get blocked. Is there like some magic word that can be said to lift this curse. Any ideas, suggestions or maybe even a trade would be awesomely appreciated.

I'm not an artist per se. But, writing can be similar. Try finding something that will inspire you. You know, look at other art, listen to music, play a video game, T.V., etc. If it's really bad, try doing other art for a little while. After all, inflation pics are only one out of an infinite number of things to draw.

If you're still blocked and think it will help, I could do a trade when I get back... ^_^

When I have artists' block I take my dagger, throw poker chips in the air with ideas or phrases I've written before on them, then throw more chips in the air, slash at up with my dagger, and whichever once I hit and or shred I try to work with until I'm pleased with my idea.

Or you could just watch movies based on superheroes or Star Wars until something in your mind licks you right in the good idea section of the brain.

And if neither of those helps, do a tinylittle doodle, even just a single squiggly line, on a sheet of paper, and try to make that tiny squiggle part of a bigger sketch until it completely consumes your mind with an idea. The squiggle therapy always works, guarunteed or I'll kill the guy who guarunteed it to me.

And that's how I get inspired on sunny days when my batteries run outta juice.

I say you read the RPG section until you get an idea.....then agai nthat may just make youthink of our RP character......bah me thinks thatsa good idea anyway ^^

I think I'd probably either watch a run of movies or go people-watching. ^_^
