Title: Idea for WG story
Description: just a suggestion...

OK...So I'm not much for reading or writing but I had an idea for a WG storythat anyone could use or build on.

the idea would be that a girl goes camping in the fall and gets bit by a bear one day. she is fine and returns home later feeling slightly better. but one winter morning she wakes up to find that she has gained several pounds, her bed is barely standing, her room is trashed, & she doesn't know why. this happens for a few nights & when she gains up to 500 pounds she goes to the doctors to have a sleep test. the doctors find that the reason for her sleep eating is that she is becoming a Were Bear each night since the first full moon after she had been bitten by the bear! And everyone knows what bears do in the winter & how they prepare for it! HIBERNATION!

yeah that's my idea...I don't like writing stories so anyone can take this idea & use it for their own WG story. yeah...Baron out!

The only thing, is how often does one get bitten by a bear, really? With bears, there's really only two things that happen. You see the bear, or get mauled by the bear. There's really no inbetween on it. But the idea of someone inheriting a "hibernation" sort of schedule...awesome. Although bears don't hibernate, per se.

What do you mean bears don't hibernate?

Oh, and as far as the bitten vs. mauling...Rune's right. She'd need to be mauled and the were-ism save her life, else it wouldn't be realistic.

I mean this. As according to the people at Ohio State University, bears don't actually hibernate.

Thanks for the info. ^_^

And thats yet another reason we don't hire people with degrees from there. :P

You don't believe me?

I bet you also think that tomatos are vegetables, bananas are fruit, and winter is caused by Earth moving farther away from the sun, huh?

While bears still eat a lot of food before winter!

Yeah, I think it actually helps the story out. Otherwise, whenever she turned into a werebear during the winter, she'd just pass out...

Well, I think the only thing I am not aware of from your newest list, Rune...is that bananas aren't fruit.

Judging by their composition and properties, I've always thought they weren't...but I don't really know the deciding reason...or what they're considered. -_-

I know! I was so amazed when I found out! I used to always say that my favorite fruit was banana...I love every food and dessert with them! But yeah, you can sort of tell by how it looks...the "meat" of it is different, and you don't see any seeds and such in it. From what I've heard, a banana is technically an herb because of how it germinates and such. So...bananas are my favorite herb!

I used to think that. Thanks Beakman for enlightening me!

So, it's an herb, huh?

Well then... ^_^

Though, I have seen seeds in them...but they're not really like the seeds of normal fruit...so it makes total sense they're not.

Runegrace - December 2, 2006 06:40 PM (GMT)
Actually...a banana is both?

Now I'm just confused...

UsagiJin - December 3, 2006 08:42 AM (GMT)
Wouldn't be the first thing.
