yes it is mark lol , good memory lol
funny enough havent been on capripower in ages , been busy with my other modes off transport , so capri has been on back burner but after seeing it today and the state off it , think it has to go back to top off list , maybe lol , right when i am out off a job and cant afford to be doing stuff with it lol , such is life .......

well hope munich is treating you right and things going good for you , cant be any worse than over here no matter how bad , expect they speak bloody german lol , spent a week in germany and cant speak a word off it , so didnt like it at all as wasnt in a holiday site so very little in english .....................

Redrockett - September 28, 2009 09:58 PM (GMT)
Thought your car was in killucan in some engineering place getting sorted??

See I work for an english speaking company and besides that, where-ever you go, if you try to speak broken German normally some starts speaking in fluent English so you dont even get a chance to practise! :( They relish the opportunity to speak english

I quit capripower.co.uk when they lost my user account on a forum upgrade!

Hi Con, Richard, Phil?, foc-eye and Bert ;)
I look forward to checking out that thread Bert, great to see your name again :)

The main problems here in Germany are that they seem to prefer BMW's and volkswagons to fords, not to say I dislike either (love an old 635/325 or a mk1 golf or caravelle ) the main ford scenes seem to be northern/western germany not sourthern where I am, and also there is no need for a car whatsoever with the excellent transport system! :( But im sure ill get around those issues and find something soon ;)
You can pick a nice sierra here for 500-1000 quid, 3 door too!

Strangely mk1/mk2 escorts here are from 1000-100000 (rally car for 108000 i saw recently), maybe 2500-3000 for a decent one, much cheaper than back home or even england, and even stranger capris seem to be 2000-20000, or 3000-4000 for a decent one, more expensive than back home! So I dont know what to buy..... :)

They always liked their Capris in Germany, with so many being built tere and raced there so sucessfully in the day, but like everywhere things move on, only the hardcore old fordies left, lots Capris made their way out germany heading east, after that wall thingy fell down one night, new set is as you say fast bm's merc's, audi's ect,ect :( , they out tere still tho, just not as many now i think
