 QUINN CITY ORPHANAGE HAS COMMENCED!!
Posted by Spiffy is Glory - 09-10-09 17:23 - 0 comments
According to Pyro's segment in this post, Quinn City looks like a bunch of rubble with lots of screams both distant and near. However, the orphanage itself is a bit homey, if not a little run-down just because of nighmares.

What's this about the orphan Rocket "not acting like himself"? 29gn6yq.gif

Why is the orphan Cosmos "feeling da fever"? hmlolkz3.png

And of course, you may make your own oprhans as well and control them! However, if you're planning on a character adopting an orphan (and yes, you don't necessarily have to adopt the orphan YOU created, you could offer to adopt someone else's as well), you have to make a try-out for them IF you want them to become a Wielder. However, orphans who are not Wielders or not going to be adopted do not have to be tried-out. BUT... if you are adopting an orphan who will NOT be a Wielder, they still have to have an untaken name!

BUT the orphans are kind of like the Nursemon from Egarim City. Make your own, give them pretty hair colors and pretty eyes, play mix and match, do whatever you want! It's cool. :D Also, this is the PERFECT arc to have your baddies attack without feeling intimidated about the plot (since the plot is very minor).

Thanks and let's party, beloved boobies! education.gif

 PORTAL TO QUINN CITY!!!
Posted by Spiffy is Glory - 09-2-09 05:54 - 0 comments
Alrighty, everyone! THE PORTAL HAS OPENED! education.gif It's time for a fun but still plot-y breather!

PLEASE. Have your villains attack, have some fun! Quinn City is basically a devastated city, as most cities are after nightmares infected Earth. Buildings are collapsed and the streets are abandoned, barely any people are left in the city. Most have fled to find refuge in other less-populated areas. The sky is always red and the clouds are always black, conveniance stores are broken into and glass windows are shattered. Homes are smashed up and screams are heard throughout every night, every day.

Shadows roam and nightmares seethe. However, luckily for our heroes, Nightmare Beasts do not populate the city, finding it too empty for their bloodthirsty ways.

The ORPHANAGE is just like any building; decadant and run-down, but it still has plumbing, bedrooms, food, water, and the necessaties. Lots of stuff to prepare for our FEAST!

ALSO!!! Remember how in Egarim you could control your own Nursemon? You can control YOUR OWN ORPHANS!! :D And if you fall too much in love with your character, you may have a character adopt them, though I don't encourage it too much. awesome.gif

SO YEAH. Next post, once a few people have gone into the portal, I'll have Pyro or somebody pop through it to give the current DL... :)

 An Ending, and A Beginning
Posted by Spiffy is Glory - 08-13-09 02:22 - 0 comments
SHIT, SON. IT'S DONE. FINALLY. HOLY CRAP.

Alrighty, that took a while. Well, with the killing of Aviv and Arkadimon, an important arc has ended, a new one begins (well, soon, anyway ;). It's important to note that while this arc was actually a little on the boring side time-to-time, it is only THE SET-UP to MUCH bigger development soon to be scrolled across your screen!!

If I've guessed the next arc right (at least, I think I have), I know that, while plot-essential elements happen in it, it is the PERFECT arc for you to use those wonderful villain profiles you wrote up last summer (wow. last summer. hmm.).

Okay, so, uh yeah.

Yeah.

Yeeeeeah.

Well, if you've forgotten those profiles or even that thread (which is quite understandable, because DAMN), please look over your wonderful baddies IN THIS THREAD!

And I quote from the first post:

QUOTE
And yes, bad guys may TOTALLY attack at the same time, can unite to form one badass team of bad guys, or become rivals with each other even!

And if you're totally sick of or uninspired by the baddies you made last season, feel free to bump that thread and create NEW ones!

This arc isn't huge. Yes, plot things happen, but nothing that should overshadow anyone. It's also going to be a very swift, short arc (that involves NAOSU and the DARK ONES!!!), so feel free to make your presence known, kick some ass, take a few names!

education.gif Teacher, teach me! And prepare for the next arc... both your baddies, and yourselves!

P.S. I love you, boobies! hurrr.gif
