Now that we've gotten that aside...
Gravitation is one of my favorite Anime in the world. (The Manga, dare I say it, sucks! It's alot different, and twice as inapropriate.)
The main character is Shuuichi Shindou, a lively, happy-go-lucky young singer wanting to make it big in the music buisness with his band, Bad Luck. (For pic, see bottom links.) Also in the band is Hiroshi, the laid-back, mellow and loyal guitarist for the band, who's also Shuuichi's best friend. At the begining, Shuuichi is in a slump. He's out of inspiration for a song, and with one due the next day it doesn't seem like things are going well for Bad Luck. His manager/producer, Mr. Sakano, is completely stressed out about the upcoming opening act for a concert, and Hiro suggests that Shuichi get a girlfriend for inspiration. One night, Shuichi goes on a walk through the park, reading over his lyrics and trying to think of what's wrong with them. When the lyrics sheet is accidentally dropped, it blows away in the wind, only to be caught by another, a mysterious blonde-haired man who tells Shuuichi he has "zero talent" and walks off. Enraged by this, he stomps off and goes to sleep, telling Hiro about it on the way.
The next day, Shuichi is walking along and sees a black car coming down the street. He jumps in front of it yelling "stop!" The car stops, and lo and behold: out comes the man from the previous night, telling Shuuichi: "You can kill yourself, but not on my car you damn brat." Later when Shuichi and Hiro are talking, an interview comes onto the TV, a reporter is interviewing the Author Eiri Yuki: The same person whom Shuichi met two nights before. When he sees this he runs off to Eiri's apartment (Which he visited after the can incident) to talk to the author. He can't get past the dor, but meets Yuki anyway, who was on the way out. Shuichi gives a "challenge" to Yuki, telling him to come to the concert that he'll be preforming at to hear his song. They're then interupted by Mika, Eiri's sister. Shuichi desn't know this though, and thinks it's Yuki's girlfriend. When Yuki pretends to be "with" Shuichi as an excuse to get away from Mika, Shuichi gets really confused. Yuki tells Shuichi that he thinks Shuichi likes him, suprising him more. After a small argument, Shuichi disinvites Yuki, and then proves to Yuki that the author likes him back. Yuki silences Shuichi with a kiss, and that's the end of episode one. ^_^
(I have to stop here, but will continue in a few hours, I want to make sure this is all correct. *ish doing this from memory.* I know the first paragraph is correct... Shuuichi Shindou: Protagonist/main character, singer for Bad Luck, Eiri Yuki's love intrest, Ryuichi fan.
Eiri Yuki: Shuichi's "lover"/romantic intrest, former Fiance of Ayaka, Mika and Tatsuha's brother, Author.
Hiroshi Nagano: Shuichi's best friend and guitarist for Bad Luck, Love intrest of Ayaka. (HIRO ROCKS, MAN! XD I lurve Hiroshi. *hugs Hiro plushie*)
Suguru Fujisaki: Keyboardist for Bad Luck, Tohma Seguchi's cousin. Added to band upon command of Tohma.
Tohma Seguchi: President of NG records, former keyboardist for the band Nittle Grasper. Fiance of Mika.
Mr. Sakano: Worker at NG records, Bad Luck's Former Manager, now producer.
Ryuichi Sakuma: Singer, Former singer for the band Nittle Grasper. Shuichi's friend.
Mika: Tatsuha and Eiri Yuki's sister, Tohma's fiance.
Taki Aizawa: Leader of the band Ask, enemy of Bad Luck.
K: Bad Luck's Gun-slinging Manager, former manager of Ryuichi Sakuma.
Noriko: Former Keyboardist in the band Nittle Grasper.
Mr.Bear/Kumagoro:Ryuichi's stuffed rabbit, utter cuteness, kinda like a logo for Gravitation. (YAY MR.BEAR!)
Tatsuha: Eiri Yuki's brother, HUGE Ryuichi fan, Pervert.
Ayaka Usami: Eiri Yuki's former Fiance, Hiro's love intrest. (GRRR.... I hate this character! She must DIEIEIEIEIE! :angry: XD Just kidding, I do hate her though.)
