I'm thinking of starting another Contest next week. (See the new Contest ideas here: Third Contest Ideas) Whenever we start a Contest, people want to know what they will win, so I'd like to hear suggestions from our members about what kind of prizes they'd like to see.

It has to be reasonable in cost. If we do four or five contests a year, we'll have to buy any prizes like gift certificates, CD's, T-shirts, etc. Take into consideration that we'll have to purchase any prizes like that four or five times a year. I don't want to be spending huge amounts of money for this!! :lol:

Some of the staff have said that they think money prizes will make Contests less fun, because people tend to get more competitive when there's a money prize at stake. People will be more upset about losing, etc. I'd hate to see that kind of thing happen.

I'd like to hear people's thoughts about this. Should we just stick with giving a banner to the winners, or should we start giving out things like $10 gift certificates to Amazon.com or something like that? :unsure:

I don't like money prizes, I think its wrong, at least over the net. I think that just the fact that you won is great!! so anything would be good, like a little sig saying what place you won.

I think the banner is fine as is. Unless the admins implement the Shop/Money system and stuff like that (I'm talking about the one on the forums, not in real life), then I think the sig/banner would suffice.

WHAT ABOUT A CLOUD T-SHIRT?? :lol: or a cloud and aeris t-shirt??( okay i stop dream)
