It sounds as if you're familiar with Redlake. Do you live near there? :(
I can't understand someone being motivated to kill random people like this. I heard that the kid killed his grandmother and grandfather before going to the school, then he just started shooting anybody. I guess I could understand it better if he was angry at certain people who had been mean to him and targetted them, but it sounds like he was just shooting anyone.
I'm not saying that it would be okay if he was targetting certain people - it would still be a terrible thing and the wrong way to solve a problem - but at least it would mean that he had some motivation for doing it. It doesn't sound like he had any motivation at all other than wanting to kill, and that's just insanity. It's very sad when things like this happen.

Wow, I don't know what to say. The kid is insane.
Yes, it's very sad to hear things like that happen.Who is to give him the right to take away peoples' lives, no matter how mean they have been to him.

Far too often something like this happens when someone has been teased in school for too long, and the parents or whoever are taking care of the kid do not take it seriously enough. I've actually seen it happen, parents and teachers just give those idiotic advices that do not help and the kid only gets depressed and pissed off as time passes and no one seems to be able to do anything to help him. And in the end, he/she just loses it as life has become too unbeareble. Sad but very, very true as it happens all the time nearly everywhere. Children and especially teenagers can be very heartless and uncaring.
Of course by no means am I trying to justify what he did, but only trying to make you people understand why things like this happen.
It might have been something else as well seeing as he might have been admiring Hitler and Nazis...
Well it matters not why it happened as it did happen. :(

Yes, I heard on a later report that he was a member of a pro-Nazi forum online and used to post there. I believe something similar motivated the Columbine killers, too. They say he was picked on at school, too, and somewhat of a loner. It still makes it hard to understand being driven to such an extreme. It's very sad. :(

:( My mom told me about that. I think he shot his grandparents, then people at his school, and then himself. I'm not sure exactly what his motivations were, but it's a real tragedy that it came to this.

I ahve a feeling they were porbably bullied. Someone I know in real life who doesn't go to my scool was picked on people said they'd kill them so they brought a knife to their school, but decided not to use it and stuck it in a tree and were sent to a mental institution.
