Title: If They Show That Flashback...
Description: The one where Aerith dies!

Hmm, I was always thinking, that what if they show that flashback where Aerith dies in Advent Children? I mean, if they're showing Zack flashbacks and he only took up like...ten minutes of the game...Then they should be showing Aerith's death scene also being that it's one of the more memerable scenes right? I think it would be bloody being that yes...it IS more realistic!
I just want to hear what you people would think it would be like. Do you think Cloud would be crying? Not histerically, but you know...some tears? :( He said in the game that his eyes were burning, his mouth was dry and everything. I think they should show how much pain he really was in! Because in the game graphics, you can't appreciate it that much!
So what do you think it should be like?? :ermm:

I would absolutely hate to see that scene in AC renderings. It was painful enough to see once. I have no desire to see it again, especially in such realism. The scene was masterful because of its impact on the player - a repetition of it would lessen its impact. It should not be repeated. I couldn't bear to watch it.
If they want to depict Cloud's pain at her death, they can do that just as easily during the funeral scene. Cloud had to carry Aerith's body all the way up the crystal stairway from the underground chamber, for example, and that was never shown in FFVII. It has also been said that there's a very important scene on the beach, which may mean the sand surrounding the lake where Aerith was buried. They could just as easily show Cloud's pain and grief in those sequences.
I would much prefer that they do something like that to establish that Cloud was indeed crying, and that her death caused him a great deal of pain and grief. Too many people still deny the impact of Aerith's death on Cloud.

Hmm, I don't know why they would show the flashback of her death since they show the funeral already, which is depressing enough.
If they have another flashback of Aeris I'd rather it be a happy one, like when Cloud agrees to be her bodyguard. That would be sweet. :aeris:

 You are right Aly, that hasn't crossed my mind ever, that Cloud actually carried Aerith's body from the underground chamber all the way up to the lake.
What do you mean by the beach scene? I don't remember any beach scene

^_^ Agreed. I hope they show the scene of how Cloud fell into the church, and their first meeting :cleris: :

WOW Anastar-san!! I never thought of that! O_O He really did have to carry her lifeless body all the way to the lake...awww, that's so depressing...;__; That was so hard on him I bet. ;-; I really, never thought of that...
You guys are right! They should focus on other scenes such as their first meeting! :) That would be so kawaii~ I want to hear how Cloud laughs....and what he ACTUALLY looks like when he smiles!! :cloud:

I don't think it would be bloody, my theory is Aeris didn't bleed because she was killed by the Masamune.
But anyways, I wouldn't like to see it again either. Maybe a shot of Cloud holding her crying, but I can't watch her die in AC's graphics...*gets all sniffly*
And I would MUCH prefer to see that scene where she makes him laugh! It'd be so CUTE!

One of the motion actors for AC put in her diary that "a very important scene happened on the strand", and she thought that scene would have a great imact on the rest of the movie. A strand could be either a beach, or it could be a strand of DNA. There is sand on the edge of the lake where Aerith was buried, so that may be where this important scene takes place.

Can you imagine how painful and sad that must have been for Cloud to do?

I think the beach sand scene takes place in the current time of the movie, where Vincent and Cloud have a chit chat. I think I heard that Vincent drags him away from the grouping of children and Kadaj, Yazoo and Loz, which also occurs in the City of the Ancients.
But who knows, it could very well be both.
The way I see the death scene is that they'll approach it the way they do for whatever reason. Most of the movie is done anyways, so the way I see it, I'll be happy with whatever they do.
Let's hope they just don't mess this up like they did Final Fantasy X-2.

yes, cloud carried aeris lifeless body to the lake when he buried her later...remark that when cloud took aeris in his arms. her armrs are...well..diferent thet when whe see the fmv sequence, so that mean, in the way, it was cloud who put her arms like this...so sad.. :(

I'd like to see it for the sake of art and learning how they edited that scene for CG purposes.
