Each Roleplay should have its own thread in this forum and its own Update thread in the Update forum. People participating in each RP should see to it that the Update for their RP is kept up to date with what is currently happening in their story and which characters are involved, etc. It's recommended that you put a link to your Update thread in the first post of your RP, and vice versa.

I'm thinking of having our next Contest be on any Roleplay that's 5-10(?) pages long by the end of April. The judging could take place during the first week of May on things like best RP character, best RP story, best Roleplayer, etc.

So start getting your story ideas together, and let the Roleplaying begin! :D

Mira is writing the Rules and Guidelines for the Roleplay forum. After she posts it, I'll pin it as a sticky in this forum. I've asked her to write the Rules and Guidelines since I have no roleplaying experience whatsoever. :lol:

As of now, all I know is that there should be no god modding. That's when you create a character who's invincible - he/she can't be killed, can't be harmed, etc.

The front page of each RP should have such as a list of the character profiles as well as a brief summary of the plot/storyline.

I'm hoping that Mira will get the Rules and Guidelines posted at some point today. Once they're posted, feel free to start and have fun! :rolleyes:

Very basically, it's where you make up stories and act them out. You also make up characters to be involved in the story. Mira wrote up a terrific Guide to Roleplaying that you can find here: Guide to Roleplaying Most of your questions should be answered there. :rolleyes:
