Um...for the fansection how bout a roleplaying section? The rules aren't up to me but maybe we could play as Cloud, Aerith, etc. and make up adventures and such.

That would be really fun! Hopefully people who aren't here much who want to join don't get left behind though. I've seen it happen in a lot of RPGs. People get too eager and they post a million times while others get lost. :unsure:

Cloud's Girl has told me that it's difficult to set up an RPG forum where you can buy equipment, materia, weapons, shields, etc., on a FreeInvision forum. However, we could easily set up an RPG forum with different people playing out the parts of a story.

How many other members would be interested in that? :unsure:

That's such an awesome idea! I'd definately look forward to something like that. Also, about the getting left behind thing, we can have an update log on the important events that have happened. It's kind of like a summary of what goes on so people don't have to read through so many pages to understand what has been happening so far. ((I've been through that before and it's NOT cool))

The Update Log is a good idea! Is it kept at the beginning of the thread by the person who starts the roleplay? :unsure:

If we make a section for just RPing, it could be an update thread and people can post updates in it.

Well... normally the person who starts the RP has an update log on the front page so when you check out the RP the update log will be the first thing you see when you look at the first post. The only problem with that is the person who starts it might be on hiatus or something, they also won't always be active when others are when they are RPing so they'll have to go back themselves and look through the pages for events that they have missed out on, etc.

However, if we do what CG suggests then people who have been present at important events can post what happened at the time in a different thread. The only problem with that is the thread could be spammed by others who don't like us ((There's a lot of people who don't)), there might be important events that have been left out because people forgot to update, etc.

If there's any other possible problems then you can add to it, that's all I could come up with.

How would it be to set the RPG area up as its own Category? (Forum Related, Advent Children, Love Triangle, Media, and Bashing are Categories now.)

If we set it up like that, then we could have a forum for Updates and a forum for RPG's. Each RPG could have its own thread and its own thread for Updates. Would it be less confusing that way? :unsure:

We plan to have another Contest in April, but we haven't decided what this Contest will be yet. Maybe we should have a Contest for the best RP being run? Since this Contest will run through the month of April, any RP started by about mid-April could count. Voting could be during the first week of May for things like best RP character, best RP story, best Roleplayer, etc. Whatdye think? :rolleyes:

As for this problem, if I can suggest a solution to it, how bout whoever makes the rp and all can be whoever they choose to be (in a note at the top) but only for that thread they make. So really it solves the 'everybody would want to be Aeris or Cloud problem' since they would all get a chance at it. ^_^

Okay, this is what I think. The person that started the RP can be whoever he/she wants. If they want a cirtain person to be a cirtan character, the can PM them and ask them. If the person that they request will do it, they can be that character. I know that I may not have sloved much, but if all the characters that you loke are taken, you can create an OC (own character) and go from there. I did it and I ended up making a fanfiction out of it.
