The Legend of Zelda series is the only series that was able to overtake Final Fantasy for me. These games have all been such awesome gaming experiences and I really hope I'm not alone here in thinking this. Not to mention the cool main hero, Link, who was also my very first game character crush. :whistle:

Add me! Even though I have never owned a game from the legend of Zelda series I have played them before. Though I kinda wished I had the GC version of Soul Calibur since Link's so much more awesome than Heihachi who goes with the PS2 version.

I just saw the new trailer today! It reminds me of Ocarina of Time so much and I have craved another game like OoT for a very long time! *Adult Link lover* :lol:

And I love his facial expressions in Wind Waker! He's so cute!

Link rocks. He was best in Ocarina of Time. So many memories. I liked how he had everyone all over him. Everybody loves Link and you can't blame them. Zelda, Malon, Saria, Nabooru, Ruto, Marin, Romani, Cremia. They are great characters. Everyone was hitting on Link. Link should become a polygomist and marry them all. Hee. Well, or each one could end up with a different Link, since their are technically four forms of Link. Link rules. Also, like the Tifa and Aeris / Aerith debates, their have been a lot fo Zelda fans and Malon fans that have very intense debates. Some people write fanfics in which the author bashes one of the characters. Zelda and Malon are both great characters. It's unfair how some people portray them in fanfics. One fanfic made Malon, who is so nice and kind throughout the game, into someone who was a murderer and jealous, which was completely different from her character. Lots of fanfics portray them in different lights. They are both nice characters in the game, Zelda was always kind and nice and Malon was always kind and nice. The fanfics people write are so harsh, portraying one of them as a murderer. Can't a fanfic have both characters protrayed in a positive light? They were so nice throughout the game and fanfic writers choose to completely change their personality because of their opinions. Then they bash anyone who likes whatever character they bash. They are both great characters. They were both very nice and friendly throughout the game. If only fanfic writers could understand that.

The only girls I support with Link are Zelda and Marin. I absolutely loved Link's Awakening and it's still my favorite Game Boy game ever and I really liked the whole dream theme it had. And of course, who CAN'T see Link with Zelda? The knight and the princess! Come on! :lol:

I don't like Malon and Link together for some reason. I just can't see Link being with her. I can see a child Link with Saria a lot easier than I can see Link being with Malon. I saw some of those debates when OoT came out and I made sure to stay far away from them. <_<

I thought that since there's some new info about the new Zelda game that maybe I could revive this thread!

What we now know:

The Offical title is "Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess"
The story takes place between OoT and Wind Waker.
There is a strange Twilight zone (I'm not sure what it was called exactly)
Link will transform into a wolf when he's in the Twilight Zone
Animals will serve an important role in the dungeons.
There will be monkeys in the game (I'm sorry I just had to put that in :lol: )

If there's more, tell me and I'll go ahead and add it to the list. Or if any of my facts are wrong go ahead and correct me.

:ermm: I would join if I actually had some understanding about the games, but I'm completely ignorant when it comes to Zelda anything. In fact, the most I ever played any Zelda game was like 2 minutes at a McDonalds. :blush:

I've been a Zelda fan since I was a wee girly watching my mommy and brother playing the original NES games. My favorites are a Link to the Past and the Ocarina of Time. I'm in love with Link. <3 And I support the Link x Saria X Zelda x Malon pairing. :lol:

As for Twilight Princess... I'm purchasing a Gamecube for the SOUL PURPOSE of playing it. Heh.

TWILIGHT PRINCESS IS CG'S NEW FAVORITE GAME OF ALL TIME. Not the GC version. Has to be the Wii version, yus. And Zelda is absolutely gorgeous. She acts the exact way I see her as well.
