Personally, I love them all. They're such great characters. I'm hard-pressed to pick a favourite, though (because I'm so fickle!); it used to be Reno all the way when I first played FFVII, but later I went off him after being exposed to his fanon stereotype once too often... <_< Now, my favourite Turk is usually either Elena or Tseng; even though I still adore Reno, and everytime I go near one of Lirillith's Rude/Tifa 'fics, I turn into a hardcore Rude-fanatic! :lol:

I'll join. I love Turks, they're funny.

My favorite is Elena because she's just like me. A major scatterbrain. I'm not insulting Elena for being a scatterbrain, since I just said I'm a scatterbrain myself.

That's another reason why I like Elena. She's not some hardcore agent or bada** female rambo. She's just an excited rookie. Her personallity is human. Even though she's just a bunch of polygons, people can still relate to her because of her personality.

I completely agree with you about Elena! Those are my thoughts exactly! ^_^

She's definitely one of the more human characters of the game; and definitely the most human Turk. I think she's a great character, and it's a real shame her character isn't given her dues in the fandom. She may be flawed; but that doesn't make me dislike her at all (I'm quite a scatterbrain as well, so I can relate to her a lot myself). I love how she isn't a hardcore kickass female stereotype as well; she's an enthusiatic newbie - taking herself too seriously sometimes, self-conscious of failure, always trying to impress people she looks up to, do her best, and not mess up. She does mess up a lot, and unfortunately trips up sometimes and makes a fool of herself, but that only makes her more realistic. I hate it when people call her a dumb bimbo, just because of her occasional slip-ups and mistakes and sometimes bubble-brained attitude. She may not be "female rambo", but she's not some ditz either. After all, she's a Turk. How could she have achieved that if if she was just a dumb blonde? Obviously, she has a lot of skill, determination and intelligence to be able to be a part of that organisation.

I agree with you - Rude is very cool (and sadly underappreciated by the fandom, except by some very cool RudexTifa 'shippers).

I'm really disappointed that we haven't seen anything on Elena in AC yet. Why has she been forgotten? I hope she has some sort of role in the film. She's too great to leave out! :sad:

I'm pretty disapointed that there's no sign of Elena in AC as well.

About AC, Seii, there's one thing I just can't get my head around and that's why is Tseng alive? He was killed by Sephiroth in the Temple of the Ancients in FFVII...why bring him back? :unsure:

I guess he didn't die, there was never conclusive proof that he did. I guess he cralled out of the Temple? :huh: There's actually some threads going around ACF debating how Tseng and Rufus didn't die. I can acually understand Tseng, but RUFUS? :blink:

Anyway, Elena rocks my sockorz, short-haired blond chicks with guns, reminds me of Aya Brea from Parasite Eve ... :whistle:

As for pairings, Reno x Tifa *dodges bullets* & Tseng x Elena. ^_^ I've seen some cute Reno x Elena art, but I'm not really a huge fan of them, not as much as with the others. I've also seen a lot of nice Reno x Aeris art, most of it's by Cleris artists and that's how I find it. :P
