Well I dunno how many people here have played the Devil May Cry games, but I have them all (just got DMC3 and I have the comics too) and I absolutely adore Dante and his story. i have never played that game but i so adored him *wateva his name was* lets just say i have a thing for demon killing games :P but i would love to join the club!! and of course i want to know more about him! like what was his motive? why was at the big scary looking castle? and whos that chick with him is it sister? or someone related and hoping not a girlfreind! :P i prefer him single and yea and is he really a bad guy my friends never liked that game cause they wanted another claire clone to play with *typical male* but me forshure would love to play it one day.......... :D

He kills demons as a job and he gets hired by people. If you're talking about DMC1, Trish is the girl and she takes him to malet island to kill the demon king Mundus (who Dante's legendary demon father Sparda defeated long ago). Trish somehow looks exactly like Dante's mother but she isn't his mother. If it's DMC2, the other girl is Lucia. She was created to be a demon but she was never evil. And in DMC3, it's Lady. I have only gotten a few missions in so I don't know her exact role other than she hunts demons as well.

I just beat DMC3 completely last night and I would die if I could find the hi-res CG renders that are in the gallery in the game. I absolutely adore Dante and Vergil for having such a brotherly bond yet still be able to be respectful rivals. ^_^

I admit it. I love Vergil to death too. And I WANT the CG render of his face with the blue tint! :wub:

After playing DMC 3 the second time around, I'm starting to dig this game. Alot. Sadly... I've only beaten and owned Devil May Cry 3.

I'll join, Dante's such a kick-ass character with all of his L337 skills and his story is somewhat bittersweet.
