I was thinking about Kingdom Hearts II, I've heard speculation that the characters in KH won't be making a return. Of course we'll see Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Pluto and Sora, but do you think we'll see any of the characters we saw in KH, both Disney and FF? I think that Leon, Yuffie, Cloud and Aerith will show up again, maybe only for a short while. I wonder why none of the pre VII characters have made an appearance? I'd love to see Terra. And FFIX characters too, I'd like Garnet and Zidane to show up.

How about Disney characters? We haven't seen Pocahontas, Mulan, Anastacia, and Cruella De Vil was conspicuously absent when the villains were shown.

Who would you like to see make an appearance? And do you think Cloud and Aerith will be together in KH II? Is this why we haven't seen much regarding them in KH news, because Square doesn't want to spoil AC? :ph43r:

I've wondered the same thing, Madame Batolli. I've heard rumor that all the FF characters from the original KH will be in KH2, although it hasn't been confirmed. It would make a lot of sense if they were in it, especially since Squall, Aerith, Yuffie, and Cid were all part of the original story. It's very likely that Hollow Bastion will be in KH2, and that's where they all ended up. It's also likely that Sora will go back to Destiny Island in KH2, where Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie are. I could easily see the FF characters being in KH2 again.

Aerith and Cloud are in CoM, and Cloud is a summon XD, unless something happens to them in CoM, I don't see why they shouldn't be in KH2, to have their memories back..since it seems that they forgot everything o.O

Er... I think that no FFIX character will make it to KH, because I think their character designer isn't Tetsuya Nomura.

I've a feeling that Cloud and Aerith will have more action in CoM than in KH-II... but I hope they make a comeback in KH-II. I hope you could hire them in your party.... X___x

And I was disappointed when they didn't give Cid Highwind a voice. Do you think it's possible that he'll have a voice in KH-II? I mean, if he's still there, of course.

I really hope they'll be there! It'd make perfect sense. I mean, why wouldn't they still be in the Hollow Bastion?
As for the Destiny Island kids, it seems unlikely to see them again for a while.

I hope they are both in it. I loved KH because Aeris is in it and she has a voice! :D She sounded exactly the way I imangined she would. Anyway it would be great if they were both still in it. It would make KH-2 worth buying.

I would love to see Aeris, Cloud, Yuffie, Squall, and Cid back in KH. They have to be in the sequal since they were in the 1st KH. Hopefully, there will be more insight on Cloud and Aerith's relationship. Question. I saw a pic that was said to be Rinoa, but in a whole new different outfit. A person said that was Rinoa's new look for KH2. Did anyone else see this pic? And what do you think of it?

Hmm...let's see. First the Disney characters.

Well, let's see. I KNOW that Mulan and Meg (from Hercules) are showing up...there's been plenty of screenshots of them. Pocahontas would be an interesting idea, haven't heard that one yet. Anastacia...I think you're talking about the movie 'Anastasia'? That one isn't Disney... And Cruella De Vil, I guess you could have her, but then usually the villians are terrorizing their own worlds and well, then you would have to move the puppies from Traverse Town and everything.

Second, Squaresoft.

Cloud and Aeris have both had screenshots in CoM, so they're definitely in there. I think all of the old Squaresoft characters will make it into KH2, 'cause, well, why not? They're all intertwined with the story, playing relatively important parts in KH, so I don't see why they WOULDN'T have Cloud, Aeris, Yuffie or Leon. And, since Kairi is with Tidus, Wakka and Selphie, back at Destiny Islands....and Kairi is VERY important, I don't see why they couldn't play a part too.

That picture of Rinoa...I've seen it before, but I don't remember where. I really hope that they have Rinoa in KH2, but that pic...really isn't consistent with the graphic style of KH :(...maybe it's for something else?

The style is totally different from KH, plus the clothes.....not exactly proper to be wearing next to Disney characters(yes, I realize Yuffie wore little, but it wasn't as noticable on her). I don't think this's for a sequel for FFVIII(well, I'm praying), so what COULD it be for?

Yeah, I agree. The style does look different from KH and the outfit is a bit 'racy' for Disney. But, let's not forget Square Enix is a partner in making the game and Square has tendencies for racy outfits.*cough*Rikku*cough*Lablanc*cough*><;;

I have also heard rumors of Rinoa being in KH2, though they have yet to be confirmed. I would like to see Rinoa in the sequal. Squall was there in KH1 and I was hoping to see Rinoa in it as well. It would be nice if Rinoa and Squall reunited for KH2.

I would LOVE to have Rinoa in KH2, but that render simply doesn't look like everyone else. The colors are too different, it's too realistic and sharp. All the renders in KH were rounded and soft looking, even Cloud to a point. I definatly think it IS Rinoa, but if it's really for something or if it's fanmade, I don't know.

Well, if it is something fanmade, its well made! I like the design, but it does seem too...adult for disney.
It's a shame there is no pre-FFVII characters, but since Nomura is in charge of KH series, he only uses the characters he designed. It'd be cool if characters outside of FF made it into KH.

Well Cloud and Aerith had quite big roles in the first game, so personally I'm not going to be that surprised if they aren't in KH2. Not that I wouldn't love to them to be in it, but life is unfair. <_<

The problem with IMDB is that anyone, if they have an account (which are free to get), can update the information without any proof of how valid the information is (the only thing that needs proof is adding a new movie/TV series/game/etc.). Except for Auron, I don't think they've confirmed anyone else (Vincent was only mentioned in one magazine, an American one I don't remember the name of, and I don't think Yuna's been mentioned at all).

Well it's not official. So who knows, perhaps they will surprise us and Vincent will appear in KH2. I am jsut saying that so far there has been no talk about him, no screenshots...absolutely nothing that would indicate that he will appear in KH2. So it's not looking good for us Vinny fans. That's all I'm saying.

Early on, there was a magazine artical that stated that yes, Vincent was going to be in the game. If Auron is a good guy, refusing Hades and such. I'd like to see Vincent perhaps play the part of an enemy, he's dark enough.

Nomura said he wanted Vincent in the first game and he's one of Nomura's favourites so there's still a chance he'll show.

Sephiroth has to, just has to. Right now, theres a lot of AC/BC/DC/CC hype and Square will no doubt want to promote this, Sephiroth is a key character to the FFVII saga and so is Cloud (and Aeris) and so it'd be foolish not to put them in when so much is riding on their sucess in other areas. Someone who picked up KH2 for the disney stuff might see Sephiroth or whomever and think 'he's cool!' and pick up AC because of it.

I'd like to see the Turks there too, though Rude n' Reno'd be pissed because they'd take away the booze, being Disney an' all, heh.

As for Rinoa. I hate her, whiny, selfish creature. Hell even Seifer had more chemistry with Squall! She was just to arrogant, immature and vain for my liking. SO I'll be very happy should she not be in KH2. Quistis rocked though and Seifer as an enemy would be fun!

Nomura did say that he wanted Vincent in the first game, but I thought he also said that he decided Vincent just wasn't right in that setting (or something to that effect)? However - from what I understand - there is a dark element as well as a light element in KH2. Perhaps that's how they'll work Vincent into KH2?

And good points about Cloud and Aerith in KH2. They've shown that Selphie is in KH2, who's one of the FF characters in the original KH. They may be waiting to disclose information about Cloud and Aerith in KH2 because it relates to information about AC. We don't know whether Cloud is in DC, and that's probably because they don't want us to know whether Cloud survives AC yet. The same kind of factors may be effecting news on their appearance in KH2.

I doubt Cloud'll be in DC. Nomura has said that Advent Children is to resolve Cloud's history and Dirge of Cerberus is to resolve Vincent's. Cloud might make a cameo (if he's alive) but it's Vincent's story.

As for Nomura's comments on Vince in KH, it was something like that Leon was too like him and that Disney thought he was a little too dark for their audience.

Nomura also said that the first KH was a comment and a sort of side-story to FFVII and C + A's relationship there. So it would make sense if KH2 did the same with AC. I don't think anyone save for Cloud in that game could take on Sephiroth anyway, heh.

I'd love to see Leon try (and fail). I really don't like FFVIII.

After playing CoM, i am quite certain Cloud and Aerith will be back..
They both lost them memories and were anxious to get them back...but that's all CoM left us with... lost memories...so perhaps KH2 will show them regaining their memories and finding each other.. *prays*

The Aerith and Cloud we see in CoM aren't the real Aerith or Cloud right? They are constructed from Sora's memories... so how did they lose their memories?!?! I mean..they are not even like real you know...
And unless they have been to the Castle Oblivion.. I don't see why they should lose their memories...See Aladdin never lost his memories of Jasmine, nor did Beast and Belle! Weird right?

Then again the theme of KH is about " forgotten memories, eternal promise"..... so maybe it is just signifying how Cloud and Aerith are tied together by a promise of some sort, not just memories ^_^
