Title: Site Layout Html
Kaldea - February 25, 2005 04:27 AM (GMT)
Ok, I want to make my own "information site/shrine" for maybe a certain couple/character *cough* and I pretty much forgot everything I knew about HTML. I would REALLY appreciate if anyone can show me how to do a nice simple "shrine-like" layout in HTML if it isn't too much trouble. :gift:
Edit: Nevermind! I got a site started. ^_^

I know absolutely nothing about HTML (which is why all my attempts at shrines have crashed and burned), but I just wanted to wish you well in your shrine-making attempts. You always express such interesting and thoughtful opinions here, so I'm sure your shrine will be fantastic! I can't wait to see it someday! :huggle:

I've visited it! :D
I gotta say, you needn't have worried about yor HTML skills. The layout is gorgeous! And I love content and opinion-centric sites, so reading what you've already put up is a real treat. I can't wait 'till it's finished! ^_^

Just to let you know (I don't know if this is just me), but if I use Firefox, I can't read any of the text without highlighting it since both the background and text are black. I tried with IE as well, but there the background is white and (while readable) doesn't really mesh well with the layout IMO.

Well I know my site isn't FireFox friendly ( a lot of sites aren't for some reason) but everything is fine in IE for me. The background is dark blue though and it works fine with my IE.
And thanks miracle_angel! ^_^

I use Dreamweaver since my brother in law put it on my computer to deal with his own webstuff. But I could try other programs eventually. ^_^
Thanks again!
