My favourite singer would be James Morrison.. I really like his mellow tunes and husky voice, although Michelle Branch comes a close second. People who play their own instruments appeal muchly! I'm quite a pop-music person, unfortunately. Don't kill me but my guilty pleasure is Britney Spears. :lmao:

@Oceania : I have been lazy..!! I haven't drawn anything properly in a long time - finishing Uni and juggling two jobs and a social life and everything kinda took it's toll. Hmm, I listen to a huge range of stuff when I draw...usually whatever's on my playlist - but if I'm going for a specific mood I tend to listen to some really sombre, mellow stuff. Tori Amos is good for that, so is Vienna Teng and Charlotte Martin.

Lol, I can't think of any weird looking animals... but I guees I would say the Birds of Paradise unique to Madagascar - they're the freakiest things ever, but so awesome when they spread they're wings!

Well I come up with topics by really random bouts of inspiration... sometimes I'd be reading a book or listening to some music and a line or vision will just jump out at me. Most often it will be when I'm looking at other people's arts, and I just put my pencil to paper, start doodling random stuff and go from there.

I love the refining part of conceptual drawing the most - going over my rough sketches in detail, because i get to think up little things that would make it look better and sometimes improve on the original idea.

Sketches of course!! :D Colouring can be such a pain and hurts my eyes after staring at the screen for too long.

Haha, I would say dark blue for Cloud - for some reason I've always associated that colour with him. It's dark, but not too angsty, calm and somewhat symbolic of him as a would-be Soldier.

Yeah, I think colouring is annoying too! Although the most annoying for me would be doing backgrounds. I suck at them. XD

I use Corel Painter IX / X a lot, as well as Open Canvas 3.03E. I use Photoshop to adjust lines, but most colouring and inking is done in Painter and OC.

I do think of drawing images that would go along with fics when I read them, but not all the time. I enjoy writing too, so mostly I tend to focus on the writing rather than the visualizing. Although if something from the fic jumps up to me I have the strong urge to draw it. :D

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your arts, Chib!! Especially your animated gifs. I like your normal arts more than your chibi arts, bu that's just cause I'm not a big fan of chibi styled drawings. But still, yours are ENDEARINGLY CUTE and I think you are incredibly talented!! Do keep drawing!

@CG : Most prized possession would probably be my plain silver necklace I wear around my neck. My mother gave it to me when I was a little girl and it was the very first gift she ever gave me.

Hmm, I'm an RPG person. Just of the top of my head, I love games like Xenogears and the Suikoden Series. I also liked the classic Nights for the Sega Saturn as well as KoF, surprisingly. :lol:
