Yukari! :huggle: Lawls hay. Answer: My writing goes alright at the moment. I find myself inspired often enough, but I haven't been able to write much lately since I've been very busy finishing up the semester and taking finals. I'm all done though on Monday, so hopefully I'll get some good stuff written then!

Erase a relationship from my memory? No. I've only ever had one relationship that I regret, but since I've already moved past that, and even though it hurt to be treated badly, I at least learned to not be too trusting. There is one memory I might erase, though it's not of a relationship but rather something that happened to me many years ago when I was much younger and too naive to say anything. Had it happened now instead, I wouldn't have let it continue, and sometimes I wish I could forget it ever happened. My reservation however would be that I wouldn't want to repeat the same mistake.

QUOTE (Augora)
Favorite story that you have written?

Hmm... I guess I'd pick the novel I'm writing now since I like to think my writing gets better as time passes.

QUOTE (AA)
What is your favorite classical text? (Besides Shakespeare)

Most definitely The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky. :D

Sorry Alantie and Amaranth, I'll have to answer your questions later! I forgot I have to go participate in some research for my Cognitive Neuroscience class, and I'm on the verge of being very late. :P

Favorite color?

If you could go back in time, what time would you want to go to?

Books! Favorite color is teal, and if I could go back in time, I'd go to the 1960s-70s. ^_^

QUOTE (Amaranth)
Do you have any songs you associate with people in your life?

Hmm, well I associate "Mr Blue Sky" by the ELO with my boyfriend because we had fun dancing around to it at 3 AM the last night I was visiting him in Toronto.

QUOTE (VT)
What are your biggest pet peeves?

I'm pretty tolerant, but I can't stand the sound of fingers rubbing over a balloon. Just thinking about it makes me seriously want to cringe. >_<

QUOTE (Inuyatta)
Ever been to an anime convention?

Nope, I have not.

QUOTE (Rikkulicious)
How did you come up with Sadhana? Is it because you're Hana and you're sad?

Haha, no my name is actually Tara, pronounced differently than the usual Gaelic name because my name is Sanskrit and means star. For that reason, I decided to make my username Sanskrit also, and I picked the word Sadhana for its meaning, which is basically aspiration towards God.

QUOTE (Sefie)
What are your favorite kind of shoes?

I like my beat up old chucks! I adore cute high heels, but they hurt my feet.

QUOTE (Kaldea)
Top five favorite bands?

Arcade Fire, The Doves, Nirvana, Iron & Wine, and Blonde Redhead.

QUOTE (yin-chan)
What are you studying in college? Is adjusting to life in New York hard for you?

I was studying Psychology until recently, but I think I'm going to major in English instead since I find those classes more interesting. Nah, life in the city isn't a tough adjustment since I grew up 15-20 miles away from it, and I've always loved New York. So it's great to actually be living in Manhattan now.

QUOTE (Dr Coon)
What other cool attempts of suicide are there besides smoking?
I always thought death by jumping out of an airplane would be pretty bad ass. :peace:

I'm sorry to all her fans out there, but my most hated video game character would have to be Rikku. I don't much hate characters, but if I had one I hated, she would be it.

My favorite Shakespeare is Hamlet, and I prefer silver to gold.

QUOTE (Kusari)
Hiya, Saddy!

Hey Kusari! :D Ahh, the worst books I've ever read? The first one that comes to mind is The Pact by Jodi Picoult. I read it like five years ago based on numerous recommendations from my friends, and learned never to take their recommendations again. Another one of my least favorites would have to be The Stranger by Albert Camus. I know it's supposed to be great and everything, but I hated the absurdist and existential stuff. If we're including non-fiction too, the last one I'd pick is The Bell Curve by Herrnstein and Murray. All it did was attempt to scientifically justify racist ideas from the nineteenth century. I hated that book.

QUOTE

There aren't really many since you can't make much of a nickname out of Tara. Some people call me TJ, and my boyfriend calls me kiddo.

Kaldea - May 9, 2008 08:48 PM (GMT)
HAHAHAHAHAHA, what was your most hated Rikku moment? :fish:

At what point did you realize you hated Rikku?

If you were trapped in a Disney movie for the rest of your life, which one would it be?

Favorite place to go to?

If you had to chose, which would you rather have a beard or a moustache?

MistaCloudStrife - May 9, 2008 09:31 PM (GMT)
What does the J and TJ stand for? =)

Kusari Yarou - May 12, 2008 09:06 AM (GMT)
So do you think the two of them managed to work it out after the ending of "Eternal Sunshine"? :) (I remember thinking that that movie is so Cleris though I don't remember why *has to watch it again*)
Any actor/actress you like, despite their less-than-spotless reputations?(For example, [i]I[i/] still like Jude Law as an actor despite the dumb thing he did. :P)

Angelwing Aeris - May 13, 2008 03:36 AM (GMT)
What is your favorite Shakespearean tragedy and comedy?

yin-chan - May 13, 2008 03:47 AM (GMT)
What's the age difference between you and your boyfriend, and can I steal him? :D

Sadhana - May 13, 2008 07:30 PM (GMT)
Ahh, I've been neglecting my own thread!

Kaldea: I don't know what my most hated Rikku moment was. I just couldn't stand her voice and how she would constantly bounce all over the place. She reminded me of some kind of sorority princess. My favorite 80s song is "You Shook Me All Night Long" by AC/DC, and my favorite 90s song is "All Apologies" by Nirvana.

Taco: Sunset! They're just so pretty, and I don't wake up nearly early enough to catch the sunrise.

Alantie: Any Disney movie? Because I'd totally pick Pirates of the Caribbean since I'd love to know Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp. If we're talking strictly Disney princess movies, I'd pick Beauty and the Beast. My favorite place to go is Washington Square Park in Manhattan. And if I had to choose between a beard and a mustache, I guess I'd pick a mustache since you can have a greater variety of mustaches rather than beards.

MCS: The J in TJ stands for my last name since I don't have a middle name. I'm not very partial to my last name, though I've probably stated it in some dusty corner of this forum at one point.

Kusari: I'm kind of torn on whether or not they worked it out. They're shown together playing in the snow at Montauk, but then the image repeats a couple times as if to say they just kept erasing each other and getting back together again. I don't pay very much attention to actors, so I can't think of one right now that I like who has a less than spotless rep.

AA: My favorite Shakespearean tragedy is Hamlet, and my favorite comedy would probably be Twelfth Night.

Yin: My boyfriend is a bit less than a year older than me. Seven months I think? I'd be sad if you stole him from me since he's an amazing guy. :( But you can have me any time you like! :huggle:

Casual wear, jeans or skirt?

What kind of genra in fanfics attracts you most? dark? fluff?

Do yu wuve Chibs?

Yukari - May 15, 2008 02:03 AM (GMT)
I'm glad to hear your writing's going well! :huggle: I just chose to do a creative writing portfolio over a dissertation for my final year at university, and I've got to get six short stories written for it. I'm REALLY hoping I get some ideas at some point!

Questions:

Have you ever won a competition?
If you were a rainbow, what would people find at the end of you?
Do you like orange juice smooth or with orangey bits in?
What song would you sing if you were singing karaoke?

Angelwing Aeris - May 15, 2008 02:40 AM (GMT)
Hey Sadhana,

Are you also a vegetarian?

FYI: I sent you an email. ^_^

Sadhana - May 15, 2008 03:05 AM (GMT)
Chibica: The weather was quite nice today, actually! Sunny and in the mid 70s.

Best location for a date, hmm... I can't pick a specific place, but I can tell you what I did for my favorite date ever! We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, sat and talked on the docks in Brooklyn, walked back, and went to dinner on a balcony at the South Street Seaport with a great view of the Statue of Liberty. It was really nice. ^_^

The most recent book I'm reading is The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. I'm ashamed to say I've never read it before, and I'm enjoying it a lot.

As for pets, I love my kitty, but if I could have another pet, I'd love to have a tiger. I think that would be awesome. Unfortunately, they're considered a bit dangerous to keep as pets.

Casual wear, I usually wear jeans, but not because I like them more than skirts. I just have more jeans. I love skirts though.

I tend to like dark fanfics more than fluffy ones because I prefer tragic romances, and especially when it comes to Cloud and Aerith since most of what attracts me to them as a pairing is the tragedy of their love.

And of course, of course I wuve Chibs. :huggle:

Yukari: Good luck with your creative writing portfolio! I'd probably have a lot of fun with that. How long do you have before you have to turn it in?

I haven't won many competitions since I don't often enter myself into them. However, when I was the opinions editor of my school newspaper, my teacher entered me into a journalism competition without telling me, and I won Best General Opinions Piece.

If I could choose anything for people to find at the end of my rainbow, it would be wisdom. In reality, I think I offer people a degree of introspection since I tend to have a good understanding of others that I then give back to them.

I prefer orange juice without pulp, and if I were singing karaoke, I'd sing "Tiny Dancer" by Elton John.

Angelwing Aeris: Yes, I am a vegetarian. :D

Angelwing Aeris - May 15, 2008 03:22 AM (GMT)
Did you decide to be a vegetarian? What made you want to be one?

Are you by any chance Buddhist?

I'm a vegetarian because both my parents are, so they raised me as one. I've only ever had meat by accident, twice, and both times I threw up and became pretty sick. :puke:

No, I'm not a Buddhist since I'm not a member of any organized religion. I do know all about Buddhism though, and I believe in some of its tenets. I practice a branch of meditation similar to Buddhism and Hinduism.

Inuyatta - May 17, 2008 04:58 AM (GMT)
Actually, Buddhism is not a religion so much as it's a way of life. Which is funny, because I am one, yet I cannot go without eating meat because of my tendency towards anemia. X_X

What is your favorite meal then?

Well, it depends on the branch of Buddhism. Traditional Buddhism is more like a way of life since there's no real mention of God, but other forms of Buddhism such as Tibetan Buddhism are polytheistic. ^_^

My favorite meal is dinner!

My parents are also vegetarians, but because they chose to be. My dad's been one for almost 40 years, and my mom's never really liked meat since she's likes tofu better. I've always been a vegetarian, cause I can't stand to see a cow, or chicken and think that someone is going to eat it. I rarely eat fish but I do enjoy salmon.

Do you like Tofu?
How strict of a vegerarian are you? Do you eat eggs or fish?
Do you eat dairy products?

Inuyatta - May 19, 2008 10:30 PM (GMT)
:3 You make me so glad that you know that much about Buddhism.

Ever watched Sentai? (Y'know...power rangers BEFORE it gets raped for American audiences?)
