Haha, I thought my old name "Scott" would've made it a little obvious, but yeah, the new name is a bit less masculine  Girliest moment was when my ex dressed me up as a girl.

Also to do with my ex, she drew a picture of her and I in anime form as a gift to me for Valentine's Day. I've had a lot of good presents over the years but I think that one really meant something to me on a personal level :)

No doubt I've tried, but nothing successful. Even just a sweet line can't come out without sounding cheesy.
QUOTE

Nope, I'm a good boy ^.^
QUOTE
Favorite item to shop for?
CDs. I'm pretty obsessive when it comes to CD shopping. In a large store, I can spend hours just pouring over CDs of every genre and looking for ones that stand out.
QUOTE
Top five favorite bands?
1. Nightwish.
2. The Mars Volta.
3. Coheed and Cambria.
4. Arcade Fire.
5. Muse.
QUOTE
Best concert experience?
I feel obligated to mention two. First off, Muse. This was simply an experience. In a hall filled with 9,000 people, it's impressive to see how just 3 guys on stage can have the whole crowd in their hands. The light shows, amazing. The musicianship, perfect. Just an amazing gig. The other gig I must mention is Nightwish. In terms of how good I've ever felt, nothing compares to that gig. Quite possibly the single highlight of my life, singing along to every word to songs I had listened to every day for years meant so much to me. The crowd too were so into it and everyone had such a good time, even the band. I got Emppu's plectrum too, and Tuomas waved at me :D
QUOTE
Any bands you love that you haven't seen in concert yet?
I would rather much like to see Poets of the Fall live. I think that'd be a good sing a long gig. But, the five bands mentioned up there ^, I've all seen.
QUOTE
Have you gone backstage at any concerts? If so, which ones?
Nope. I'm nowhere near lucky enough. We tried so hard to meet Nightwish but it just wasn't for happening.

A few.
Rap - Mostly because I look for depth in music, with actual instruments and in rap (and also hip hop), there just isn't any. And usually the lyrical content is pretty bad. USUALLY, mind. There are some good rap lyricists out there.
Dance/rave/trance - It's just plain repetitive. And annoying. Gives me a headache. Can't possibly be viewed as music in my eyes.
QUOTE
What one of the most embarrassing moments you've experienced? XD
Telling someone I love them then having to face them the next day. Talk about awkward! And also today, I went to wave at someone and they looked away, so I just kinda cooly moved my hair as if that's what I meant to do...stylish, I know.

Favourite smell has to be strawberries. They're just DIVINE. And probably the dishwasher...I don't use the microwave much anyways.

I visit Sefie when I r old enoughz :tard:
Favourite work of fiction is a toughie. Harry Potter, perhaps, because it opened my eyes to reading. Lord of the Rings because of the sheer depth (and ELVES!), maybe. Fiction is life <3

Vens has been offline a lot lately because she's been playing her 360 a lot, lol. I'll tell her you're asking for her :) The last three things I read...yesterday's paper for local concerts, Eldest and Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.

What's your favourite crack pairing? :)
Amaranth - May 15, 2008 03:50 PM (GMT)
I'll admit, I wasn't aware of what crack pairings actually are. After researching it, the best one has to be Jack Sparrow and his jar of dirt. Obviously, "best" means "biggest wtf from me."

QUOTE (DivineRose @ May 20 2008, 11:35 PM)
So, was the Nightwish concert everything you thought it'd be? :D
OMG YES AND THEN SOME.
It was my favourite venue, the Carling Academy in Glasgow. I was with my 3 best friends and my then-girlfriend - the company couldn't be better. Right at the front row. Best view in the house. I have Emppu's plectrum right now - the best sourvenir. It was really the perfect concert. My one complaint is that they didn't play Ever Dream, which is my favourite song of all time. But as each member came on stage, I'm fairly certain tears flooded my eyes with happiness. Seeing Tuomas merely feet in front of me, the master songwriter, just meant so much to me. And he even waved at me (believe me, I know it was me he waved at). I've never sang louder in my life, never jumped as high or as passionately, and probably not annoyed so many people around me by my mindless squeeing between songs. Honestly, the best night of my life. Thanks for asking :)
DivineRose - May 21, 2008 02:00 AM (GMT)
Thank you for answering! :) I'm going to see them on the 31st (:fangirl:), and I remembered that you were probably the biggest NW fan ever and had seen them, so I wanted to know what to expect.
I really hope they play Ever Dream at my concert. I read that they only sometimes play it if Anette is feeling up to it. If she doesn't feel well, they don't do it. But, it hasn't been on the setlists lately, so I think they stopped completely. D:
Second favorite NW song?
Amaranth - May 21, 2008 02:24 AM (GMT)
Ah, very lucky! I hope you enjoy it! :) I know they haven't played Ever Dream much lately...but they DID play While Your Lips Are Still Red. Which completely shocked me. I didn't think they'd play that. I'm still hoping they play The Escapist :D
Second favourite song...it's such a hard question. Ever Dream is a clear favourite because of the emotion in the song, but what comes next is impossible. I love all of their songs. I could say Dead to the World, but then I'd be leaving out Sacrament of Wilderness, and Meadows of Heaven, and Poet and the Pendulum, and Creek Mary's Blood. There is no way to properly answer the question, I don't think. The songs from Angels Fall First and Wishmaster are my least favourite (though I do love Dead Boy's Poem), but Oceanborn, Century Child, Once and Dark Passion Play (and even the Over the Hills and Far Away EP) all have songs on them which could be considered favourites.
I'm such a NW snob :D
DivineRose - May 22, 2008 01:35 AM (GMT)
I love "FantasMic" on Wishmaster. Just what the Disney fangirl in me ordered!
And "Beauty and the Beast" from Angels Fall First, of course.
What's a plectrum?
Angelwing Aeris - May 22, 2008 01:39 AM (GMT)
Do you like tragic romance or fluffy romance? Why?
Do you like Shuyin/Lenne?
Amaranth - May 22, 2008 01:09 PM (GMT)
A plectrum is a...thing! Used to play guitar. Sometimes called a pick, but I prefer plectrum.
I think I like fluffy romance more. Tragic is just too depressing. Fluffy is usually light hearted and almost too sweet for its own good, but I like that, because I know it is beyond belief, so it's good "escapism", even if I'm not huge on romance stories.
I don't really have much of an opinion on Shuyin/Lenne...I think they're a canon couple and accept it. I thought it was a sweet story but a bit of a lame ending to the game overall.

I know this isn't a question, but do so! :D

Hm, I know you're a Luna fanboy... Who else are your favorite HP female characters? How 'bout favorite male characters? |
Hm, good questions. I haven't read the series in a while (*gasp*) which means I may not be in the right frame of mind to answer this with the best opinion...but I really enjoyed Ginny's character. Bellatrix too was deliciously evil. Of course, Hermione is the one who I care most about though, and I genuinely felt for her at some many points in the series. I enjoyed those three female characters more than the rest (not that there was that many more, lol), but I still love Luna's quirkyness! Oh, and Tonks! I just remembered her as I was answering the next question
As for males, I think there is only one answer - Snape. I loved him in every book, and Deathly Hallows was just amazing for his character. I loved a lot of the characters in this series, but Snape stands out like no other.
QUOTE
Which Deathly Hallows death affected you the most?
Considering I got shivers just there just thinking about the line "Look...at...me", it has to be Snape's. Don't get me wrong, I cried at every one (perhaps a bit too much at Hedwig's, lol), but it was when they killed off Snape that I realised "This is really coming to an end." I was upset about Tonks and Lupin but I found their deaths rather pointless. I wanted them to live but they got killed off only by being mentioned among the body count, wtf! I loved them both.
QUOTE
What fandoms are you in besides C/A?
Harry Potter, casually. The forums I go to for HP are more for relaxing and chatting with people rather than the actual fandom (sorta like here now too). The only one I'm really active in is Lost. I come up with stupid theories, good theories, ones that even surprise me...and I love it. I'm totally addicted. And if Nightwish is a fandom (hey, they have a forum), count me in there too :P
QUOTE
What's your opinion on Squall/Rinoa & Rinoa in general?
I like it. I thought it was rather obvious and everything that happened between them was quite textbook, but that doesn't make it any less sweet. I liked Rinoa's character too (though I recently found out a lot of people don't?!). I never really used her in combat, but she never once bothered me.

I have two mp3s of Ever Dream live with Anette. You want them?

Yay!
On every forum where I used "Scott" as the screen name, I changed it. I got somewhat annoyed of seeing my name everywhere I would post, so wanted more of a screen name. Even on MSN now, I don't use "Scott", I use lyrics. However, you can still call me Scott :D I just got annoyed seeing it next to my messages, lol.
And Amaranth because it's an awesome Nightwish song :D

...I know I have. I've seen some threads where the last poster was Amathala and thought "Wait...I don't remeber posting there...OOOHHH!!!"

Recent movies you watched?
August Rush and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Loved them both so much. August Rush was just so adoreable, and since it was all about music, meant so much to me on so many levels. Sweeney Todd was just undeniably cool. I'm a fan of all the actors involved, I love Tim Burton and the songs are really catchy.
Hmm...FF is obvious. If Kingdom Hearts counts as RPG, that too. Apart from the Squaresoft/Square-enix franchise, I'd say Eternal Sonata and Grandia.

I read about that on their website! Anette is AMAZING at Creek Mary's Blood, it should be a really good performance!
And you have no idea how jealous I am :D I would've happily traded The Siren from my set for Creek Mary's Blood.
QUOTE
Do you ship Zidane/Dagger? Why or why not?
I suppose I do. Again, they're the main two characters and it just seems to fit quite well and I never once questioned it. It kinda annoyed me at first because of Zidane's character in general, but I grew to love him and thought their relationship was cute.
QUOTE
Do you ship Snape/Lilly? Why or why not?
Not particularly...though I really really feel sorry for him. When it comes to relationships, I'm mostly for the canon ones. I don't like challenging it because I think it's far too much hassle (hence why I'm not CloTi ;) ). However, Snape's noble attitude towards the whole thing made me have so much respect for him because it takes a really good guy to do that for someone - especially when he loved her and she went with a guy he detested. I think that was the moment where I decided that Snape is one of my favourite fictional characters ever.
DivineRose - May 31, 2008 02:36 AM (GMT)
I'll send the songs to you as soon as I can!
I'm really excited for the performance. Now I'm off to actually go memorize the stinking song.
Um... question, hmm....
Dogs or cats? :P
Angelwing Aeris - May 31, 2008 06:12 AM (GMT)
Which is cuter? Baby puppies or kittens? :cat:
Amaranth - May 31, 2008 09:21 PM (GMT)
Dogs, technically. The only problem is I'm allergic to quite a lot of them, which is off putting. Cats just scare me though...they're pretty, but only from a distance.
QUOTE
Which is cute baby puppies or kittens?
Ohhh I don't know! They're both adoreable. Kittens are so cute to look at, but again, they scare me...but if this is solely on cuteness, then kittens!

Ahh! A LOST icon! <33 What's your opinion of what's going on right now?! <33
Well, I think I'm beginning to understand it. I had called it a few episodes before the end when Locke got told he had to "move the Island" that it involved time travel, so I think the Island may have moved in time. I have no reason why the O6 have to get back to the Island, but it's evident some of their lives have been terrible since getting back. As for what Ben and Widmore are fighting for, no idea. But I'm excited to see whether Ben does kill Penny or not - surely Desmond wouldn't let him!
And I love Daniel too <3 He's so adoreable.
Angelwing Aeris - June 6, 2008 08:03 PM (GMT)

Amaranth - June 15, 2008 11:44 AM (GMT)
Probably Lucrecia. Again, I'm somewhat pro-canon when it comes to pairings. Plus I quite like their backstory.
