Title: Slay The Dragon
Description: ...

Sora G. Strife - May 2, 2008 10:58 AM (GMT)
In memory of E. Gary Gygax: 1938-2008. Father of Dungeons and Dragons, which spawned the following:

Final Fantasy
StarCraft
WarCraft
Ragnarok
Flyff
...wait, why bother. Read the last few paragraphs. There.

This magnificent game is quite under-appreciated. I mean, this is the basis for a lot for modern RPGs. Come on, the only guys who bother to make good games are geeks. No D&D, no FFVII, no Clorith, no forum.

We shall also have activities. RP in this thread, too. Talk about why mages are overpowered. Talk about the Fourth Edition. Talk about your builds.. Most importantly, know that I am just a beginner, and do not possess any of the core handbooks. So please don't hurt me, and I will pass on the temporary leadership of this club to the first person who can prove s/he is a D&D enthusiast, and has the handbooks. Of course, that person will also be the Dungeon Master.

RP can start now... I have to work on my build, alignment, class, race, and whatnot.

Hmmm, I don't enjoy D&D as much as I enjoy World of Darkness, but I'd be happy to talk about role playing games with you ^_^ Maybe we could just make this a general table top club?

Eh. Sure!
This should not just be any club. We must also have activities, not just a list of members...
Hey, we should also have that RP. All of us can start at Lv. 1, including only-newbies. Does not apply for those characters that someone used Ressurect on. Here's the character sheet, format thingy.
Sefie, since you appear to have more experience than I do in things like this, I humbly give you the title of Dungeon Master for this club.
So, here's my character design:

Name: K'ranthos
Race: Elven
Gender: Male
Born under the High Sun
Class: Duskblade (something that can use both magic and has skills with a practical weapon) or in other words, a Red Mage. Spontaneous casting, because I think this means sorcerer. correct me if I'm wrong.
Alignment: Neutral Good
Backstory:
As a child, K'ranthos found himself drawn to the arts of magic, but he encountered a problem one day when oen of his spells went berzerk, killing everything in sight. To counter this, he limited his power by renouncing his powers, and never using them again except in a situation where any life hangs in the balance.
Oh, yeah, elves don't sleep. Ever. I'll breathe down your backs (that is, if anyone else joins) in case you try anything on me.
Here, I found an online handbook! Yay!
