Vincent's one of my favorite FF characters besides Cloud and Squall. Not only is he handsome, but he's mysterious and intriguing. I know many think that Vincent's love with Lucrecia was reciprocated, but I've always thought that Lucrecia rejected him. I see no hope for that relationship, but I've always thought that Vincent continued to love her despite her rejection of him.

So differing opinions of VincentxLucrecia are welcome here. This club is primarily about Vincent himself! The tragic nature of his love for Lucrecia as well as his past as a Turk and his inability to forgive himself for letting the woman he loved face the worst are all part of what makes me love Vincent. I find him to be intelligent and insightful as well as handsome and intriguing.

I'm anxious to see how Cloud's conversation with Vincent about forgiveness plays out in AC. I'm also curious to learn how Vincent knows so much more about Geostigma than anyone else seems to know. What was he doing in the Sleeping Forest near the Forgotten City before Cloud arrived to save the children? And how will Dirge of Cerberes end the story of AC? Vincent fans unite! :D

Does anyone have any ideas about how DC will tie in with AC? I find it interesting that Vincent's the main character. I know that part of the reason is that Nojima loves his character, but is there more to it? It looked to me as if some DC screenshots were in Nibelheim, but it's apparantly taking place in Midgar. So why would the story focus on Vincent? Do you think it'll have to do with his past as a Turk... or what? :unsure:

I think it's because he has such a huge potential for a background story and he is the next best character to really support a full game on their story alone. That and he is apparently "immortal". Everything about him is interesting. I REALLY hope they go into his past at least a little. And someone like him would most likely have enemies from the past who would want to put an end to him.

I am just so glad they chose to have a story about Vincent rather than a female character. I would NOT like to see an FFVII version of FFX-2.

I also think that next to Cloud, Vincent is a character with so much angst, and most people would love to see him have a happy ending one way or another.

I have a feeling that DC will involve Vincent's past in some way or another, and I would suspect that it has something to do with his past as a Turk. Since Reeve and Cait Sith are also in it, that would also indicate that it has something to do with the Turks. That's my guess, anyway.

I'm also very curious why Vincent was in the Sleeping Forest near the Forgotten City when he rescued Cloud. I have a feeling that Vincent was there for a reason.

I absolutely love if he had some kind of emotional connection with Aeris. And maybe a deep understanding of how Cloud feels about her in contrast to how Vincent feels about Lucrecia. Vincent and Cloud just have so much in common and I am happy to see Cloud talking with Vincent more than any other character.

I would love to see a little extra scene of Cloud and Vincent sitting around at the forgotten city and talking about the loves they lost. It would be so angsty yet emotional. :wub:

I'd love to see that between Vincent and Cloud, too! The suggestion of it in their conversation about forgiveness was very touching, and I have a feeling that Cloud will have more to say to Vincent about it. I think it's pretty cool that Cloud talks to Vincent more so than anyone, too. He sure couldn't talk to Tifa that easily! :lol:

Well with how judgemental Tifa is with how she talks to Cloud, I don't blame him for not confiding in her. Vincent would never nag Cloud. :lol: And I think he understands exactly what Cloud feels.

I agree completely, CG. Cloud's face whenever he's around Tifa looks withdrawn, sad, tense, and frustrated. He can't even turn to look at her. He's also that way when he's with Aerith at first, but then he turns around to try to see her when she tells him he's not guilty. When have we've seen him turn to look at Tifa while she's nagging at him? :lol:

It's funny that Vincent and Aerith are the only two people he's responded to in the trailers so far. :rolleyes:

I just read that Vincent is going to be in KH2! However...they don't have any screenshots of him...so I don't know if it's true or not. I really hope it IS true.

Vincent seems to have a big role in the plot of AC. Something tells me it's because of his past as a Turk, since BC is subtitled "The Secret of the Turks" and because Vincent has a central role in DC. What do the other members think? Why are the Turks so important in these sequels, and how will Vincent be important in fighting against their plan? :unsure:

I don't think Vincent being in KH2 would make a lot of sense since Cloud looks like he is in Vincent's clothes. Unless Vincent is in KH2 as his Turk self... I just won't believe Vincent being in that game until I see a screenshot of him. :unsure:

I've heard rumor that he is, but I haven't heard confirmation of it yet. I remember reading an interview with Nomura where he said that he considered putting Vincent into KH but didn't think his character would work well in the story or something like that. The plot of KH2 may allow for a character more like Vincent, though - Sora's black outfit indicates that there may be more dark elements involved in the plot. Vincent would make an interesting bridge between Darkness and Light. :rolleyes:

Well if he is in it, I don't see him looking the way he does in FFVII. But I am all for Turk Vincent! ^_^

One possible solution would be for Cloud to change to his AC clothes or FFVII clothes for KH2 now that he's found his light. :rolleyes: Didn't they have Cloud in Vincent's clothing to suggest the darkness in Cloud's life as well as to suggest how similar his story had become to Vincent's? That would allow Vincent to be in clothing similar to his usual, although I doubt they'd just put Cloud's old outfit on Vincent.

It'll be interesting to see what they do with that if Vincent is in it. :rolleyes:

Hmm... It would be interesting to see him in it. But Square would have to have a good excuse to put him in it for me. I find that KH has an atmosphere that is just a little too joyous to me for Vincent to be in it. Although I do see Turk Vincent fitting into the game for some reason.

The main problem I see with using Turk Vincent is that no one would recognize him! :lol: Hmmm... they *might* do it if Turk Vincent appears in Before Crisis. But wait, no. He was a Turk before then, wasn't he? :unsure:

I can see using a dark character in KH, though. Sora wears a black outfit in KH2, and that's supposed to mean something - does Sora get tempted by the powers of Darkness, or does he want to resort to Darkness, or something? :unsure: Cloud also tried to walk the path of Darkness in KH in order to find his Light. So I think a dark character could be worked into KH2, although I think they'd most likely use him to portray a bridge between Light and Dark.

And yeah, he was a Turk way before BC yet. He should still be sleeping in his coffin during BC.

And I just don't like the idea of Vincent being around Disney characters. It would cramp his style to me. :ermm:

Square only had Sora talk to Cloud, Squall, Aerith, Yuffie, and Cid during Kingdom Hearts. None of the Disney characters interacted with them. Even though Goofy and Donald were in the room, only Sora talked to them. Sora was still on Destiny Island when he talked to Wakka, Tidus, and Selphie with no Disney characters around. Sora was alone in the Coliseum when he talked to Cloud. They'd most likely do the same with Vincent if he's in it.

If they put Vincent in, they might have Dark Riku encounter him in the world of Darkness. Vincent may know the way back even though he lingers in the Darkness. :rolleyes:

Meh. They don't have to talk to him to cramp his style. :lol:

I'd still love him in KH. It just confuses me with how they will add him when they made Cloud wear half his clothes already. :unsure:

Isn't it wierd how the only two people we've seen Cloud communicate easily with so far in AC is Vincent and Aerith? With Tifa, Cloud turns away, averts his eyes, and hangs his head, but Cloud turns around to try to see Aerith. He also talks easily with Vincent about forgiveness and Geostigma. The difference is remarkable. I felt that Cloud and Vincent had such a rapport, which I never saw in FFVII. I thought that was quite interesting. :rolleyes:

Did you see Cloud grimace when Vincent gripped his arm while talking about Geostigma? :lol:

Wow, which scene is that? I completely miss details in trailers because I'm too into Cloud's hair. :whistle: That and my monitor is kept extra dark so I don't kill my eyes. :lol:

I can easilly see Cloud and Vincent being "best friends". Just two guys having a bond. It seems so fitting for them.
