Okay, I was on my psp's internet browser and I decided to read some Cloud and Aeris fanfiction. So I reading some fanfiction and I don't know why, but I started to cry. And I mean cry, not just getting misty. Real full on crying.
I never cried during Aeris' death scene, because I already knew what was going to happen. But for some reason, I just started crying. Because Cloud and Aeris are truly a wonderful match. Aeris is amazing. A mere flower girl, turned into an angel. The reason why I was crying was because it just wasn't fair. Aeris' death was unjust and wrong. 22 is no age to die!
Then I realized why I was crying. Because Aeris and Cloud never got their chance, to really have an epic romance. Sure, Cloud saved Aeris, but she saved him even more.
Then I went downstairs on my main computer, listened to Aeris' theme. I started crying again. It's strange that a video game character, who's not real, having such an emotional impact on me. It's everything that Aeris embodies. That's why Cloud loves her... :cleris:
As a guy who didn't break down but still teared up when he read about you-know-what, I got three words for you - I feel you. I honestly think Square saw the shock and sadness that Aeris' death generated among some members of the gaming public and felt compelled to write a reunion into Kingdom Hearts to provide some closure - and that's led me to believe that that death scene is the most poignant in video game history. Your thoughts?
agree with brother Carlo. it was one of the most shocking events in videogames. i feel exactly the same. if only Aerith was alive... a lot of things could've happened. like Cait Sith's predictions. the wedding... the great future.... WAAHHH....
