While all the other FFVII characters have miraculously kept their hair the same length and style during the years, Zack changes it. Even Cloud mentions the change.

Personally, I think his hair at the beginning was much cuter, and he retained that childlike fun-lovingness that is Zack, while the hair he has in the second half of the game was all "I whisk some hairgel into it every 5 minutes except for that one darn strand that keeps falling into my eyes". I didn't like it all that much.

Which hairstyle did you like more?

I prefer his original style aka "SOLDIER 1st" style. Although he was incredibly adorable with his new hairdo, it just made him look so different from the way he looked in FFVII and his original character art, not to mention I was constantly reminded of Sasuke from Naruto from it.
His SOLDIER 1st haircut is creative, and he manages to make that lone strand in the face so sexy. D:

Zack's first class SOLDIER hairstyle definitely makes him look more older, more...tough. However, I think he looks a lot more handsome with his shorter hair style. If we're simply going by looks, I prefer 2nd class SOLDIER Zack.

Second Class, Zack Fair FTW! I like the second one as well, just not as much. He doesn't look so much like the dork that I fell in love with at the start of the game.

I like them both just fine. They both fit him, one just makes him seem younger.

Either is good, really. The first one makes him look so cute, one so handsome. :fangirl:

I like his 1st Class soldier look. He looks handsome by the way his sideburns frame his scarred face. He oozes masculinity. :lol:
