Ok then, if it was his plan to be at the center of the injury to absorb the power contained within the Lifestream, then why was he in the Northern Crater? Meteor fell at Midgar!

Just a random question that popped into my head.

I don't think meteors fall on the same place twice...

It's just Sephiroth chose the Northern Crater simply because, as Aerith said, it has the most spiritual energy in one place needed for the Black Materia. Up till now, the planet is still healing itself from the last meteor.

I get the impression that Sephy plans to... uh, transplant himself into the new wound as soon as the giant rock hits. Well, that is the plan I guess before AVALANCHE came in.

Pretty much what Anti-R said -- the Northern Crater is still as an open wound, from the Calamity two-thousand years prior to the game.

n_n I just thought he was going to "come back" like he does in AC and transport himself to where Meteor was going to hit.

Hn, but at the end of FFVII, Sephiroth actually has a body, unlike in AC.

Which was pretty much dead and rotting... <_<

Puh, I think it shouldn'T be such a problem for Sephi and/or Jenova to get their body parts to Midgar. The Sephiroth transformations, as well as the Jenova parts could all move, so they should be able to do it.

Lol, I hadn't thought of that xD And wasn't it really clear to pretty much to all the characters that Meteor was going to hit in Midgar?
Mebeh ya'll are right and he could've just teleported...but I never really noticed him teleporting in the game.
