I honestly wouldn't like a Zelda movie. The whole fact that they're (apparently) are making MGS into a movie makes me mad. IMO, movies to games fail, badly.

Considering how bad most game turn movies are, I'm not overly fond of the idea of a Zelda movie. Particularly not a live action one. They would screw it up majorly, I feel.

If they did something like AC graphic wise , and did maybe the OoT plot, then it could be good, but I sincerly doubt it. :ermm:

Wow. I actually think it might be good. =O Seems to me that Kojima wants to be sure that the movie is on par with his games. He's pretty smart to not just let people mess with his work and tarnish the MGS name.

Becuase, even if it is, that is ALOT of effort being put into that one trailer and stuff.
Like the actors, special effects, music, background, all the the extra people, we're like to amazing for it to be just some joke.

My brother showed it to me the other day and I completely freaked out. I don't think I'll ever be able to look at my poor, poor Link and Zelda in the same light again. The people in there were...scary looking, especially Zelda. *weeps*

xD I'll be honest, if they made LoZ into a movie, I'd have to see it, even if it was crappy, just to rant about it after. But if it was actually fitting with the plot, then it'd be pretty cool. I adore the Zelda series, so it's one of those things you can't ignore, hate it or love it.

On another note, I never knew MGS was going to be made into a movie! .....*will likely see it* My husband and I are huge fans. I pray it will be accurate, and that the humor matches the game, as well as the drama. *really adores the first MGS and third* The original Metal Gear was fun too, despite it's terrible translations. xD

Anyway, a live-action LoZ movie seems like it would be worst. No actor could portray Link well enough to even come close to making me happy. *picky*

Am I the only one that feels bad for the actors? Everyone's complaining that they're ugly/homely/etc, but the indie company they work for has a limited number of people (at least, their site seems to use the same actors, probably not much money for more) so they used them for the trailer. I personally don't think they're "ugly", just not fit into the image everyone has for Link and Zelda. I think if they went ahead and did do a Zelda movie, they'd have a higher budget to get fitting actors.

Still, I think it's a little...mean. D: They did help to make a pretty awesome trailer.

If I'm not mistaken, I think there are already quite a few mangas based on the games so it actually shouldn't be too hard creating a short series.

I thought the trailer was actually pretty damn awesome. I mean they captured the look pretty well and it was cool to see all the trademark zelda enemies.

I do not want a movie however, because I have no faith in them ever pulling it off even nearly as well as this single April fools trailer.

Ah the old Zelda cartoons. I used to love those back in the day...when I was a wee kid. Yeah they suck when I watch them now. Things are so much different when you grow up. Sigh.

Anybody remember the first Sonic cartoons? Now those sucked. Someone though didn't give up on the series or the idea of a Sonic cartoon and it came back totally revamped with a much better story and way better animation. Turned out now to be too bad.

I would love it if someone really spent some time and effort into making a new Zelda cartoon that is more related to the games and to what fans would really want to see. I think it would take someone who is a real Zelda fan to get this done though without screwing it up.
